I know this seems horrid, but it was actually my first hat. I remember it vividly. I was on badlands durring pregame playing scout (my main at the time), and I got killed coming back around the choke going from our 2nd to mid. Pretty sure I got swatted out of the sky by another scout.
Then it came. The hat. Mind you, this was in the days before trading, so your hat was the one you got. It was before the second round of hats was released as well, so only one hat per class. I happened, in the vast possibilities of hats, to get a Batters Helm for the Scout.
Still wear it to this day.

I'm really trying to get used to the new hud but there are still some things that I miss/don't get. I've posted about the health crosses before, but also I don't really know about the bounding boxes that show up when you are low health or overhealed. I think they look a bit naff. If there was an option to have the color of the text change instead of the box being added. It kind of defeats the purpose of why I ran ya_hud Blank before the update.
I would definitely be interested in going over a few of my own demos. I'm part of a team over here in AUS/NZ, fairly new but I just need some input from good medics so I don't just end up being poop and not improving. I'm sure we can find a time that will work well for both of us, probably your Friday night or something like that (My Saturday day.)
Also maincalling on my team so advice on comms would be good. I run a stream so we could watch those vods together.

DuckyThis won't work on live STVs since player views are only binded to slot1-12 when you enter as a spectator in the actual server the game is being played on.

I've always said that when pro badlands is used, valve have lost.
Seriously how do you mess up the best comp map we have ever had.
I whipped up a set of scripts to make casting a bit nicer. These let you on the fly assign particular classes to specific keys on the keyboard. You simply have to hold down the key that you want to assign to a particular player, and then press the number key corresponding with the player you want to assign. This will hopefully help with making casting a bit more professional looking.
Unfortunately it does not seem to work on STV demos, which is a bit of a shame, as in demos the players can not be switched between with the slot1, slot2 ect commands. I was not able to test this on a live STV, but if someone has the ability to test please let me know how it goes. On my side of the world the accepted method is being in the server to cast so this wouldn't present any issues, but over here I know it's different.
This is in alpha, so let me know how it goes and we shall see if it gets any use. It was just a fun project I tackled in my spare time so no harm if it doesn't fulfill what it is intended to do.
Feel free to take a look and provide feedback. Just note that it might mess up some of your bindings if you don't have them in your autoexec so just take a peak at the defaults before you blindly install them.
If I get enough response I will do a Highlander one after I get this one sorted so let me know if that is something that any of you would appreciate.

sleepwalkerIf this is primarily for roll outs, disable the push away for the first 5-10 seconds of each round? Allow time for players to get out of spawn, and away from each other - but reenable it before they get to mid.
Just a thought, in case totally disabling the push away changes too many other things.
Overly complex for something that is already accepted in every other league around the world. Just get rid of it.
