Banning them would be shooting ourselves in the foot while yelling to the world the TF2 comp scene is not to be taken seriously. Could you imagine if the CS comp community decided to ban weapon skins on some plattitude that it would increase any number of FPS? I'm glad it's just an out of date whitelist issue.

I'm not so sure it isn't their job. One of the things I discussed with ESEA when trying to become an admin myself was greater transparency between the league and the community. The TF2 admins can't go update the client, that shouldn't be expected. But they should be serving as the line of communcation between the league and the players. This is playoffs, invite playoffs: the most important time for everyone involved with ESEA TF2. You would think the TF2 admins would be ensuring the functionality of the esea client via communicating through the appropriate channels; and should they be unable to have the client determined as functional, they should be communicating with the players, the broadcasters, somebody on the community side, to ensure 15 people do not set aside time to participate in a thing that will not be happening, and the thousands interested in seeing the thing do not keep getting their hopes up.

I'm sure the current ESEA TF2 admins have their own frustrations, and it wouldn't be right to peg this just on them, but I still feel that lack of transparency and communcation with the TF2 community is damning as well as mind-boggling..

The problem isn't that delays don't happen on LAN, the problem is that the delays on LAN do not alter the lineup of a team. Unfortunately, the worst case scenario happened to 4G with their medic losing internet and not being able to find it again. Not to take anything away from Ascent, but 4G clearly had badlands in the bag, barring some miraculous—not impossible but unlikely—comeback from Ascent. This had 3 maps written all over it, and I'm sad we didn't get to see that because of an issue that wouldn't have been an issue had the game taken play in a LAN setting. Hopefully the finals do not suffer something similar.

I'm not sure what to think. They are 100% aimbotting and wallhacking and in thirdperson and yet they are doing the nasal nerd voice ironically while calling the players they are cheating against shit and and garbage unironically. They are in mumble talking to each other about how shit the other team is. It cant be an elaborate troll for viewers, he only had 4 when I joined.
