Give any feedback you have so valve can make the maps better. Neither of these seem particularly well suited for 6s (one is payload, the other is a ctf on steroids) but maybe we could provide some competitive feedback for the sake of highlander?

wait command is disabled on basically every server in TF2 now.

The script you posted in op would need to be bound to a key to even function on a wait enabled server. I'm really not sure what you're trying to accomplish with this but you should just be able to have something like:

alias +rocketjump "+jump;+duck;+attack"
alias -rocketjump "-jump;-attack;-duck"
bind KEY +rocketjump

Honestly I personally would not recommend using a script for rocket jumping but if you want to use it go nuts.

_KermitOut of interest, why not use p-rec? I get that at LAN it's the esea computers so you might not be able to install it there for some weird reason (Even though you can install HUDs). Why not during the regular season?

ESEA clients disables plugins, however it should autorecord POV demos for you anyway.

I'm fairly sure there is a way to remove the map based text that pops up when you hit certain triggers. It has to be using a TF2 font somewhere unless they actually can/did packrat it into the .bsp with other custom stuff. If you could find that font you could set it to a null font so that nothing would show up. As for the other stuff the cl_showpluginmessages SHOULD fix the plugin popups but since you recorded with them on they might be kinda stuck on in the demo file. I know similar things have happened with having showtriggers on.

If it's any help it seems to be using the same font as plugins like MGE use to display information in the top left. Some HUDS have modified it so I would look into one of those and see if you can find how they changed it and then use that to set the font to a null one.

I'd be cool with it but for some reason the hole on one side is like actually 4 times bigger than the other one. As for the rest of the map it's honestly just distracting as hell, I have no idea why he'd use a caution tape texture for the markings on the court and the random explosion mark is just kinda silly. The detailing outside the play area seems mostly useless and could have probably been far better optimized using a 3d skybox instead of a massive ass area that nobody could even access. However the 3d skybox could cause problems for casters using a free camera I guess.
The holes in the backboard are visual only, they work like the rest of the blackboard and just absorb the rockets, it just adds a bit of flair to it.
Also the hole in the court was removed in the final version as well as the envolving props reworked and optimized, together with the logo updated. Either you still have the first beta version of the map or you have never played it.

As for the caution tape texture I never heard that complaint I guess it could be a matter of preference but its not like you would have a seizure from looking at it, it was just used to not completely copy the other existing maps.

As mentioned before the main goal with the map was to give a better spectator and streaming experience (think like what baloo does for ultiduo) hence why the involving scenery is a core part of the map, and to be honest I think x_dias managed to it very successfully.
anarchayi'd suggest doing ctf_ballin_sky, the comptf map is cool looking but i remember some tourney i was in where multiple people were having issues with the map.I would love to hear these issues. We tested it multiple times and impact on performance was minimal or next to 0 as explained before.

I guess I did have the "beta" version that was for some reason still labeled as a final map would be. Anyway the detail really doesn't seem to add enough to make it worth using over the standard map that probably everybody already has downloaded and probably already on their servers. I mean I guess it's up to Stevokenivo but I'd say ctf_ballin_sky if it were up to me.

Lol What? The map is literally the standard bball map with an even higher skybox and different textures... Please elaborate on what's shitty about the map?
