So great.
Warsong and Phantasy Star 4 on the Sega Genesis.
The former is a great SRPG like Fire Emblem and is the English version of the Japanese SRPG Langrisser, it's absurdly good.
The latter is one of the best RPGs of its era, honestly better than most of the Final Fantasies of the time. (just don't play 2 or 3 dear god they're awful)
I see #65, that's interesting actually, thanks for the info.
ompDarkNecridLinux is licensed under the GPL, anyone who distributes Linux (including modifications) must make their source code available under the same terms.Due to licensing, any changes they make to the Linux kernel and many other userland tools and libraries must remain open. This does not mean that Valve will have to release the Steam client and other applications they create under a similar licence.
It has to be open source, they can't make it not open source.
Obviously, but the topic is about the SteamOS itself and the original post you are all quoting/replying to was talking about the SteamOS itself being open source, which it will be.
Technically Cerious, since he allowed me to play in both the 6v9s I did as Spy. Blaze/Yz50 are the two that basically cemented me into playing it though.

MissHedgehogAccording to Forbes, the Steam Box will never happen. Interesting article, what do you think?
Horribly wrong.

ToastyTHTI am hoping SteamOS will have compatibility with programs such as Hexchat, Mumble, Opera, etc.
SteamOS is just a repackaged Ubuntu going off what was found on Steambox earlier, so if it works for Ubuntu it most likely works for SteamOS.
O+O is integrated Twitch streaming support in the Steam client that also shows when you're streaming to your friends and lets them watch your stream in client through the friends menu.
This is my best guess considering Twitch staff hinted that they were working with Valve on this and it is a feature in the PS4/XBO

Obviously there's a lot of parts to this idea that suck and make no sense.
However, the PC equivalent of a Phone (e.g. can't literally freely change it however you want, but can upgrade specific parts as you need them yeah) would be neat...maybe.
HueyLewisLike others have said the latest version of mumble works fine including the overlay if you just start it before steam. Annoying, but minor. 8.1, which adds the normal start menu back is out unofficially too. Should be official in October last I heard.
Windows 8.1 adds a Start Button but it just takes you to the Metro Menu. :(
It does add official "boot to desktop" support though and tbh the Start Button is completely useless when you can just pin stuff to the start bar and in 8.1 do Windows Key + Q and stay on the desktop.
finnaIs Satan really the UNQUESTIONABLE best pyro?
yes
snackswindows 8 is great for laptops, not the best for desktops
it's only a very minor upgrade if you already have windows 7 so I wouldn't say it is worth buying if you already have 7 yet
if you have windows xp or vista it's a clear winner over 7 just cause it's 7 but slightly better.
Just have it boot into desktop mode and ignore Metro, proceed to have Windows 7 that boots faster, has a quick recovery option, and has a far better Task Mananger (seriously the Windows 8 Task Manager is GODLY).
