PheeshHmm..I don't know that I would want to have a 30hz refresh rate if I am getting 30 fps- would that really be the case though when using G-sync?
Yes. (also due to the tech it uses it won't be a bad thing! It'll look better than 30 FPS on a normal 60/120/144 Hz monitor)

Carmack and Sweeney talk about G-Sync:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbW9IwVGpX8
Also it has 2 modes:
G-SYNC Mode: Better for variable framerates (eliminate stutters/tearing, more blur)
Strobe Mode: Better for constant max framerates (e.g. 120fps @ 120Hz, eliminates blur - this is better than the unofficial Lightboost modification)
50 GB of HDD is a relic of the game (probably) being a port of the PS4/XB1 version which both uses BRD's. It's common for developers to fill the entire BRD with repeated stuff to make the disk reader find stuff faster and to also reduce piracy (plus they can add higher quality audio etc).
That said, I think Max Payne 3 was the closest thing to that size on PC and it was like 32 GB, same as Battlefield 3 with all the DLC IIRC. It's pretty bogus if the game releases at 50 GB (can't wait to download the game for 50 hours!!!!)
The only way the rest of the specs make sense is if their definition of minimum isn't actually minimum settings but rather what you need to achieve the same thing as the PS4/XB1 versions (1080p, 60 FPS w/o drops).
#11 it's idtech 3 still but heavily modified. actually while I know the engine gets a lot of flack, it's honestly so far gone from idtech 3 at this point. The difference in engines between Ghosts and CoD4 at this point is like the difference between DotA 2 and Half Life 2 really.
Call of Duty: Ghosts to fuck around with my friend.
Titanfall cause the original guys who did CoD 1, 2, and 4 can do no wrong.
Hearthstone, blizzard pls.
If you have a recent GTX card, it will already support this from a driver update, so there won't be a reason to update beyond keeping up with next gen games.
You need to have specific monitors. The first one coming out is a 400$ 144 Hz maximum ASUS VG248QE. (also the monitor won't work unless you're using an nvidia GPU that supports G-Sync, but this isn't 100% confirmed yet I think)
It benefits people on both sides of the FPS spectrum. If you get bad FPS it will make the refresh rate match it so it will look smoother (30 FPS on a 30 Hz refresh rate looks better than 30 FPS on a 60 Hz refresh rate), if you get great FPS (higher than 144 in this case) you won't get screen tearing cause of what G-Sync does and won't need to enable awful V-Sync.
#11 the start button it adds just takes you to Metro, it isn't a normal start button.
if you want that you still need 3rd party mods, but that isn't a big deal.
#44 having not played with the changes yet, I'd say farming jungle and doing nothing else is nerfed pretty badly. the gold gain changes clearly emphasize ganking to help you make up for it, which won't be too bad considering the change to the medium/small camps is probably going to break stack/pull and kill trilanes.
idk tho, this patch is so big that it's gonna be a crazy few months.
The only thing I think anyone who has hung out with Stabby and not just seen him on 1 bad day in a youtube vid could not like is the more fanatical parts of his fan base, but that's pretty accurate for anyone who has a sizeable fan base so.
fsXDwhy did they give pudge and venge blink dagger
never needed to happen
also why do they change all the unimportant shit but they dont nerf the heros that actually have balance issues (SPIRIT BREAKER??) 60% winrate is kinda extremely unbalanced
win rate doesn't mean anything when it comes to actual overpoweredness in dota, the non-Very High Skill brackets are really stupid often and even VHS is dumb often enough.
his win rate is fine in high level competitive games which is really the only thing that matters, everyone else is expected to just learn and adjust, and they have since Spirit Breaker's win rate is actually 56% now and it has been steadily dropping by 1-2% every month for the most part.
spirit breaker punished mistakes really hard and that's about it. it'd be like saying Spy in TF2 is OP because he wrecks most pubs.
(also they nerfed every single hero that had major balance issues from what I can tell)
a broken Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game case.
my favorite things on gotfrag were:
http://i.imgur.com/45D5NmJ.jpg
and
the story of how fragga was playing on gravel pit and a demoman put down stickies on B and det them, and then like 1-2 years later he was playing on Gravel Pit again and the stickies killed him, stickies can kill you in the future on a different server, fvcking stickies fvcking ridiculous.
#230 certainly the most fun match i've ever had in tf2.
It's still way better than current controllers, and will be even better once they get the actual pad in the middle set up.
e: Also that HAVE online trailer is legit.
Fixed disguised Blue team Spies showing blue health particles over their heads when disguised as the Red team
