Why not just turn off wireless power saving from device manager? Click properties, power management tab or something like that and you're set. Just untick allow windows to turn the device off to save power; it affects throughput a lot

seiterseiter1So I have been testing a few commands lately for tf2 and found that cl_blobbyshadows 1 gave me an extra 15 fps at all times, if people could confirm this or not please tell me :)
I've used this for a long time and it makes a difference in my fps--just run the benchmark and you'll see

ZestyThere was some sort of fix that I had to do for this when I was in the steam beta involving registry editing but I've forgotten it now. I think you can edit some settings in the steam registry either to opt in or out of the beta or to start in offline mode. One of those fixed it. Sorry that's not specific but maybe someone can work out the specifics
