NurseyAny of my problems involving anxiety disappeared ~9 months ago (which is why I got a job much easier now than years prior). My main goal for this LAN is to prove I'm capable enough to be the best medic in the game. Hopefully after LAN we'll see if I have what it takes.
I was unaware of that, im happy to hear it. Like I said, my post is just for discussion of a hypothetical situation in which both froyo meds would be available to take to lan and is based on my own opinions and biases.I hope I didnt come off too critical. Best of luck!

shade is the best medic that has recently played by a long shot
You really think a somewhat washed up player who doesn't enjoy playing in the slightest is better than a keen bean medic who's currently regarded as the best in the world by most people
shade when he is fucking around is definitely worse than nursey you are correct, but when shade actually wants to win, he is still the better medic.
I also think its important to note the fact that shade has played at like 15 lans (including 4 internationals, 2 of which he won) whereas Nursey, to my knowledge, has literally never played on lan or at least not at any lan that actually matters. From what I understand Nursey also has tons of anxiety issues, which combined with her lack of experience on lan I don't think her underperforming would be out of the question.
Im not at all trying to suggest that Nursey is going to choke, im just saying that if you're debating which medic would be better for froyo to have at lan i'd personally rather have the player who has been there before that is pretty much guaranteed to play well, rather than a player who has never been proven on lan and strikes me as a bit of nervous wreck. Even if you believe that Nursey IS the better medic right now(I personally wouldn't say that but just for argument's sake), I don't think her lack of experience vs. Shade proving multiple times that he's more than capable of performing at an international lan is something that should be ignored and I would still take shade.
Obviously this argument means nothing because Nursey is the one that will be playing regardless. I just thought this would be appropriate for a prediction/discussion thread.
DollyYeah when shade tries he's incredible, but when he doesn't try he's obviously not, but that's the thing, he's not actually trying so people are spitting rhetoric manipulated by his former success
You're arguing that Shade is better than Nursey but shade doesnt try therefore Nursey is better? I would agree with that for online matches because shade has very little incentive to put in 100% effort, but not in the case of this tournament about which this thread is discussing. Unless you're suggesting that shade would show up to an international lan and not try?

frenzyxI cut everyone from my roster last season, now I decided to cut wolsne, remaking the team,who knows what will happen.
you seem like someone I sure would like to play with! seriously though just play open man. If you take this roster with just yourself into IM the only people that will actually consider joining this team are 5 other players that also, like yourself, aren't qualified for IM and you're going to get slapped in scrims against people who are way better than you and you'll probably die before the roster hijack rule has a chance to kill your team for you.
Side note: does anyone else remember like 5 seasons ago when in order to make an IM team the standard was that you and the 5 players you were playing with had to all have not only made open playoffs, but actually WON A GAME IN OPEN PLAYOFFS the season before (obviously there were exceptions to the rule, but that was the general pre-requisite for making IM). I understand that the playerbase and the division have changed, and this doesn't really apply to your or this LFP but I think its crazy to look at how in, say S18 for example you had to prove yourself as one of the top teams in open in order for you to be bumped up into IM. Now anyone who plays 1 season of open and does better than 7-9 feels that they're too good for open and decides that they're ready to play in IM.
my advice to you would be to either:
a: kill this team and LFT as a low-im player if you actually feel like you're ready.
b: remake this team and LFP in open and actually earn your way out of open.
