Depending on your non-STEM, there are places here that have decent business infrastructure.
The medical field is pretty big business and Western Michigan has a shitload of it that isn't actually practitioner stuff. Stryker, Perrigo some other names (mostly subsidiaries or child companies of those two) are pretty large near Kalamazoo. Craft Beer is a huge thing in the area as well.

DDM afaik isn't anything unique, it's just a strange way of saying RAM and it might be a format to the ram specifically.
Professional is all you'll ever need, since ultimate is stupid and enterprise is not really worth the price for consumers. If you REALLY want encryption, there are software solutions to it that are just more economical. The other features of enterprise and ultimate aren't useful for you.

So, until this is proven to be stable and have no definitive impact on game mechanics that we genuinely utilize (aforementioned juggling, splashing weapons into you etc etc) can we quit being shitheads about it.
It's raw theorycrafting with light empirical evidence to actually back it and people are acting like the messiah has come. Just chill, if you have a server you can test it with, test it. Be thorough.
