#12 [Video] Cool Crossbow Medic Frag (arishot?) in TF2 General Discussion

Kinda annoys me that you taunted when your whole team was in the red and I am hoping getting ready to move to 2nd.

#126 What's your job, TF.TV? in Off Topic

Just a heads up for all the POLS majors. Networking is 100X more important with political jobs than almost every other profession and then experience second. Also be aware that you will be working VERY long hours and likely 7 days a week. You will also be moving around often in your life, like state to state, often living in "supporter housing" Your first job will likely be about 24K a year. Also, intern in college and if you can't, make sure to attend (or have a position) in college dems/repub. It's always helpful to volunteer during the major political cycles too. Lastly, do not BS your positions and voting record. I can easily look up every time you voted since it's public record, but targeting and modeling has become so great that I can basically tell so much about it. This includes your likelihood to volunteer. It will help with your first job.

I'm not trying to push people out of the field, I just wish more people told me these things before. It's one of those jobs that you will love sometimes and hate too.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

Not_MatlockNever really liked either, but I guess Skyrim would be better since I HATED the guns in Fallout. You couldn't hit shit with any of them unless you were 2 feet away. The lack of terrible gun handling in Skyrim means it's probably a better game.

How was the gun handling difficult? Aim down the scope and fire, never use VATs

I don't think I have ever put my GPA on my resume. The only thing I add about school is the years of undergrad and the years of grad school and my major/minor. Once you get older and have a lot of experience, you end up having to remove jobs that are not relevant to keep it about a page. Even my first few jobs they have never asked about my GPA.

Oh wait, I guess various high school jobs that have actual applications asked for that information but I haven't filled one out in years. It's usually resume, cover letter, writing samples, and references.

Data and Targeting for various 501c(3) orgs. In about another week, maybe 2, I'll actually be starting a full time fund position doing c5 work.

zigzterFzeroLOL, I assumed that they would act that way, glad I wasn't disappointed. This server side single player shit to stop pirating is just plain getting stupid. Not to mention most games don't even have demos anymore, so they just expect you to buy a game and hope for the best.Didn't Ubisoft try this with one of the Assassin's Creeds and some group just made a server emulator? I'm guessing that'll happen again.

Yeah, whenever a game has extreme DRM, the game usually ends up being pirated more often. For example, Spore was #1 torrented for an entire year even though it wasn't even a very good game, especially playing alone.

Boshthat's just how games are made nowadays, i just play to have fun

They're made that way because people accept half games, if you do not allow it they would be forced to change.

BoshI think the game is very well made, the servers are a problem right now but that wont always be the case.

I am about to go live, if anyone wants to check it out. Ill probably be streaming it for a couple hours. I don't entirely know what i am doing yet, but i am learning. I still think it was worth the buy

Very well made, maybe, but they also "allow" you to buy a DLC already. That means it was already made and removed to increase profit. The game itself already will cost 80 bucks to get most things, why would one pay for a DLC now that should've came with the game? One of the best things about sim City was dicking around building things then sometimes destroying the town.

Steam forum
- $80 to get the full game are you kidding me?
-$60 for limited edition which is missing content
- Always online- now before people tell me to get better internet let me tell that I will never deal with always online again after diablo 3. I have 35/35 fiber optic from verizon and diablo 3 was a lag fest, I died many times cause my character rubber banded. I do not want this bs on my game.
In addition Simcity is one of those games you can play on your laptop when bored and since your laptop usually doesn't have a internet connection, goodbye play session.
- No save system everything is over the internet. Ya no game ever messed up my save files by using some sort of cloud service /sarcasm.

- gameplay while improved in some cases was dumbed down IN MANY others.

I would have liked to get the game, only thing I would have accepted is origin exclusive, hell I would have payed $80 but knowing EA they will spew out $100 or more worth of dlc just like they did with sims 3.

#8 I have a mouse problem in TF2 General Discussion

Logitech gaming software is setpoint with the newer version. I had the same problem with my old g500 and I could never find out what the issue was. You could try to downgrade setpoint to an older version, just find which is most stable specifically for the g500.
The reason that I am saying that is the "gaming software" is unifying software and sometimes older hardware will get screwed up from newer updates.
