potWe don't need the year to be in the date. That would make some more space for the score.

Also, is there a winner every week or just one winner at the end of the season?

The current competition is for the season. I'm working on weekly options at the moment, should have something ready for that soon.

What's to keep players from gaming the system by chasing more matches per week?
For instance:

froyo has two matches early this week, and ELV has 1 later.
What's to keep someone from swapping from froyo to ELV players between their matches and picking up double points?

Or, less nefariously, dropping players on their 1-match week and picking them back up during their 2-match week, ultimately accruing extra matches on the books?

There's nothing to stop people doing this, it's a standard tactic in fantasy sport games. American football probably has a more regular schedule but in European soccer leagues it's standard to have teams playing at different times, on different days and having more matches in a given period than other teams.

Looking ahead at the schedule and seeing who is playing when and how well they might do is a key part of doing well and getting the most out of your budget. The main area I shouldn't have allowed gaming was for people to stack Froyotech so hard, but even so if one of those teams wants to stand out from the pack they'll have to break ranks sooner or later and make a bid for glory via a smart transfer or 2.

Also most of the people who signed up early should now have transfers available, so get switching to spruce up your team and cut that dead wood.

ErenJayI've never played a fantasy league before so I might just be confused, but am I supposed to lose points when I transfer players?
I was on 265, and now I'm on 252 (ash had 13 points before he got cut so I'm guessing that's why), but I would have thought the points he scored last week would still be there when I transfer?

No you shouldn't, I will look into this

shadeAny idea what the % of likeliness of adding weekly competitions/cups at some point during this season?

I've decided to move weekly mini competitions up the development order as we're still getting people joining and they don't really have much of a chance given that they're now well behind, and a lot of people were screwed by selecting Boink.

Also ETF2L S21 should be ready soon, just a few blank spots to fill in.

Is each buy and sell a transfer, or is 1 buy -> 1 sell one transfer (because you're essentially just trading players

It's the complete replacement in your roster of one player's place being taken by another, so it encapsulates the buy and sell in 1 transfer. You should always be forced to have 6 players.
