#7 picking up weapons in ESEA in TF2 General Discussion
rowrowThey originally quickbanned using this for mediguns, but now it applies to all weapons. Personally I think it should only be restricted to mediguns, since it'd be pretty meta to win a roamer fight against a black box user and then take it from him. That's pretty much the only place it can really change anything, and it's not game breaking.

They need to ban loose cannon, not this mechanic.

Banning everything could come from the fact that there is a Source Mod command to disable pickups, but it applies to all weapons rather than just mediguns. However, this argument would be useless if ESEA hasn't bothered to enable that command on their servers.

#397 GXL LAN 2015 in News

I might need a room to stay in late Thursday night. Who's all staying early?
(I'll take a couch or a floor, don't worry about being creepy)

#16 Hiding dominations completely? in Q/A Help

Sounds are usually able to be customized and allowed in sv_pure 2. I, for a while used a custom domination noise, and heard it when I played scrims and stuff.

Eh, put me on the LFT list. Filthy Open Medic, I'll play if anyone needs a med.

#2 Main Menu Music in Q/A Help

I don't think you're supposed to change that music. Have you done the typical .vpk or folder into the custom folder? That's the least you can try. Anything more extensive is less likely to work.

#12 DeutschLAN 2015: Thoughts from Stinson_Out in TF2 General Discussion
Stinson_OutGenerally, though: anyone who has another idea where you could host a LAN- just go ahead and do it! It is not actually difficult, it just takes time and dedication. The community needs makers. Without makers there cannot be growth and progress.

Totally agree with you on that. This isn't to say in a boasting manner that hosting a LAN is super, super easy: when it comes crunch time and the event is happening, the pressure can be crippling, and I'm sure many of you have seen event planners and coordinators absolutely dead (Think about TheFragile during GXL last year, for example). The stress can feel so bad, but that's only a small part of hosting a LAN. Much of what happens in a LAN is all planned before, away from all the action. The more planning and accounting you do beforehand, the more control you have when the crunch time comes.

In the end though, after all that pain, you see how much fun it all was. My knees were so sore after TLAN, I could barely sit down. But that was okay because I knew the people who went had fun, and that's what counts the most.

#1 Anyone wanna recommend some music/artists? in Music, Movies, TV

My classes this semester are pretty easy. I have a lot of work time, and I like to have music to listen to. Spotify's Discover Weekly has got my current interests nailed down, but I run through that pretty quick.

Going through the TFTV playlist here http://www.teamfortress.tv/28508/tf-tv-music-playlist right now, but wanted to know what you guys recommend.

I am into EDM right now, sub genre of dubstep subjective. I mostly like electro and trance.

#11 Hats have stopped dropping, science says. in TF2 General Discussion

I really hope it wasn't intentional, because not getting hat drops could drive up the price of hats, especially now that kids know they won't be getting hats for free.

Works, but would be fabulous if the content could be hidden again. Perhaps keep a button at the top of the content?

#1 Need Help Setting Up CS:GO Settings in CS2 General Discussion

I've been trying to scale my resolution in the game. I finally got it to work, but I'm now missing some fairly important features.

So, I've set my AMD driver to scale resolutions. I scale from 800x600. Upon doing that, elements in the UI do weird things.

Team menu: http://puu.sh/kl0cX/86779dca9c.jpg

In-game, my mini map and some other numbers aren't there that used to be (Didn't get a screen cap)

When I'm dead, player dots don't appear on the map, even if there are players alive: http://puu.sh/kl0cp/0a0bffbaf1.jpg

#1 Steam Community Resetting Elements of my Profile in Q/A Help

Every couple of days, Steam Community resets my profile background and my country displayed on my profile. A couple times, it's also reset my item showcase.

Basically, when I say 'reset' it reverts to default of displaying nothing. So my profile background disappears and so does my country. I have to edit my profile and re-assign those fields.

Is anyone else getting this?
