One of the main problems with gully's water was that behind the point it wasn't a smooth transition from swimming water to walking water. At the best of times that meant when you came up onto the point it popped you up netting you -100 damage if you'd been called. At the worst of times it used to just not let you out and you'd just be bouncing up against the edge.
In all fairness to water, the water on freight was never one of the parts of the map that felt horrendous. The mid was always the best part for me. That's not to say that I think it adds much to a map but I think it might not be the devil of source.
I don't think it's a terribly bad idea. I'm experimenting with the concept on my koth map, the idea being that you could do some decent jumps via a sac wave. Generally I think small ponds have no negative effects
I wouldn't trust anyone who plays tf2 to invest well, given the terrible time investments we've all made to this game
CrenicusDo you guys like the idea of more gamemodes in 6s, or some changes in 5CP maps?
The answer here is that no mappers want to make AD maps, or really any different game modes for 6s due to the overwhelming negativity towards the idea
My ideal bf can beat me in mge
No other factors matter tbh
r1ceit probably is always open, thinking of valve.
inb4 hud that removes menu
not a source expert but if you open the VGUI tree it does seem to imply that this is true
you can see for yourself with vgui_drawtree so I'm sure someone with better engine knowledge can make sense of it
it's not as if there's many other reasons you'd want to go to the effort off making your own community, unless you're too obnoxious for everyone else, so no real shock the admin would be such a mong
I reckon it's gonna be alright :-)
Cl2 in offensive slot, cl1 in defense and support
Easily understandable and isn't aids, its pretty optimal
YppYIf Valve truly cares, don't you think we would have seen these changes a long time ago? Why wait.
Well they are busy making non-stoke weapon skins...
well weapon skins and changes to how the flamethrower works are obviously not done by the same guy
I don't think it's beyond their reaches to make competitive matchmaking at least decent, as long as they manage to introduce a working skill rating system it should get some growth
all it would take would be some kind of skin drop thing and people would probably play it
if by some absolute miracle we get a good version of pyro it might even be worth the year long wait
we have no prospects in tf2 :-(
Screeching is the ultimate form of creative expression :-)
you just have to wonder if it's going to get the same fate as dirty bomb
