#31 froyokiller dream team (for lan) in TF2 General Discussion
mustardoverlordtf2 would be a much more teamwork oriented game if standards were higher, ie coaches and gaming houses and giant prizepools

but thats just not how it is

Not to the degree of any of the major esports where characters have built in dependencies on each other

habibI understand this thread is for fun and fantasy teams however Team Synergy/Chemistry and Coordination, like DM, is something that is continuously built upon and needs consistency. This is cocky as fuck but realistically speaking there is no theoretical on-paper roster, that you can build that can beat us. The same goes for Se7en and the respective EU players. Even if you put the clockwork and mike in their primes against us or Se7en it still wouldn't be enough. However this would be only for the first season or two.

The only key is and has always been to stay together for more than one fucking season and you will get the results you want provided you work for the consistency and find out your own teams strengths and weaknesses.

Long Term > Short Term :)

I don't know where this team's just have to stay together narrative came from. Ascent stayed together with a core roster for years and I believe the only time they beat froyo was when clockwork decided to troll in a match. I don't feel like tf2 is as much of a teamwork oriented game as everyone thinks. To a large degree I feel like a team full of players who all just make good decisions on their own is better than one team making bad decisions together.

#1 Throw It back Thursday looking for players in Recruitment (looking for players)

Do you hate open players? Do you want to beat them into a plup to teach them they aren't good? Then join your boys on Throw it Back Thursday when we claim another open championship.

Looking for a chad to play pocket. If you're under 6ft and can't bench 225 for 10 don't even bother applying.

Roster:
Conbud: Scout
Air: DEMO
Christahfah: Scout
Frio: Roamer
Ictus: Medic

Baby men need not apply.

#94 The State of ESEA-Invite (a nerd essay) in TF2 General Discussion
Beelthazus
Tf2 is the most technically, strategically, and mechanically advanced esport in the world. Froyotech and Ascent have a great deal to do with that. Change my mind.

edit: RIP Brother Safrix

The sheer absurdity in this statement is baffling.

Nurseyluca goers reform and tf2 is saved

That would be option b tho because 2 of froyo are luca's.
Tbh it's just unfortunate that every player that comes up with the potential to be a member of a team that could beat froyo invariably joins froyo if given the option, the only exception to this rule who is currently playing is you.
Also getawhale mentioned how nursey was blaming herself for the loss and saying how he felt this is wrong.
This is exactly the reason nursey is one of the best medics to play this game, this is a very hard mentality to have and harder to maintain. Unfortunately until more players adopt a mentality similar to this no one will beat froyo, this mentality must be coupled with players smart enough to make the individual decisions in game to beat froyo. I'm not saying everyone should adopt nursey's everything is my fault attitude, from playing with her I know that it goes to extremes where she would attempt to take blames for things that could not possible be her fault.
I'm trying to say that I know the mindset of each tf2 player, all I'm saying is that from my experience playing tf2 this mindset doesn't appear to be very common.
