Unless you've pugged/lobbied extensively and are confident with how to play a class in a 6s environment (not just dm but gamesense as well), you're probably not high open right off the start. Look for a low open team first and only start going beyond that once you make a name for yourself and have some experience under your belt. Good luck!
That makes sense. Didn't know it was an acronym as well...

Tftv community is pretty mean and brutal with their opinions more often than not, on which I agree with you. Too many people have just received upfragged hate posts on their efforts, whether it be frag vids, looking threads, or something else. Basically there are way too many bandwagoning shitlords who treat hate-filled insults as legitimate criticism, and that type of behavior seems to be condoned, if not encouraged even. It's something that I think turns a lot of newcomers off when they browse tftv and see this kind of ugly behavior, which is bad for getting new players into comp and probably part of the reason why a lot of people consider comp tf2 players "toxic".
As for the edit itself, I thought it was definitely a little too bright, which may or may not be intentional. The intro was well done, but I feel it dragged on for far too long considering the length of the actual frags. Also, you could remove the killfeed if it's going to be obscured so badly, as well as toning down the blur in some of the clips. Don't repeat clips too much, and try to get frags that are worth the edit (headshot on scout and then medic not as impressive IMO). However, it looks like you have a decent grasp on editing mechanics, and though I'm not well versed myself, I think you should keep trying to improve.
This looks like a solid roster, with Marquee and Crasian getting the IM debut they have deserved for a while. GL with tryouts and putting together a solid team!
RIP skins. Kinda a disappointing way to end it, as a third map on viaduct would have been glorious to watch.
:/
Good player, good person. Pick him up, he's worth it!

add me if you want to grind scout or soldier against a soldier
Marq is great. Give him the team he deserves so he can finish a full season and be a happy man!
Sideshow carrying the stream when the tftv one goes down!
I thought it was fake at first, until someone linked a statement from the official nintendo website and the news started like 2 hours ago. Rest in peace; you will be remembered for all you did for Nintendo, Iwata. (⌣_⌣)
