That's a false dichotomy, we're discussing whether a team should be placed directly into prem or have to contend for it. All of these teams are prem contenders.

I disagree with the map test cup as well, pcw results are less or at most as useful as a cup situation where teams are directly trying to win on maps that they've spent more time playing with that team than any other (given how new these teams all are). The results should factor in along with what few scrim results they have. They certainly shouldn't be penalised for playing an ETF2L cup, as they have had less time to get scrim results on normal maps and therefore less time to prove themselves if you ignore those games.

They beat them on one map when Publiclir had 2 mercs, and then Publiclir beat them on the map in the semi-final when they had their proper roster. dd5f were looking ok but a 5/6 team playoff is a waste of time.
