there's more to TF2 than shooting. Teamwork, rocketjumping, etc
I've had to explain it before to people. I usually focus more on the mechanical aspects of the game, the friends I've made and the huge learning curve after mentioning it's a shooter

CollaideDoes anybody have a version of the "circle" crosshair where the circle is thicker? (aka the area of the hole smaller in proportion to the radius of the circle)
I'd really appreciate it.
I made an attempt. Did not test in-game but should look fine. You can PM me on TFTV or add me on Steam if it's not exactly what you need. Modifying it doesn't take long

EoNis it possible to have the crosshair3 vtf file but the crosshair being green without changing ingame settings?
Yea, vtf crosshairs can have any color (or combination of colors. There's that thalash VTF crosshair like radu pointed out that combines white and green but you can go full rainbow mode or use the mona lisa as crosshair if you really feel like it). All you need to do is have the in-game color settings be 255 for white (if you use a green vtf crosshair with blue in-game settings the crosshair will turn out cyan. Only a full white crosshair uses the colors you gave the vtf)
Like this it's perfectly possible to make a crosshair color switcher without having to use scripts. Truktruk uses this by having a green, cyan and pink VTF of the same crosshair assigned to slot1, 2 and 3
I made a quick edit of the crosshair3 vtf file. Didn't test in-game but should look like RGB 0 255 0

tonyswedeyeven after ive downloaded the most recent version i still cant record actual tga files to my movie folder
make sure the folder is inside tf
About a year ago I started playing DnD with friends from NA. They're west coast so for my local time games go from 10pm untill 4am but it's worth it
You recently made this thread http://www.teamfortress.tv/45847/crosshair
Did you mess up when trying to install a VTF crosshair? Perhaps you deleted something from the game vgui folder instead of the custom folder.
Verify game cache and see if it helps
(remove anything crosshair related from custom as well)
Also I've never heard of crosshair0. Not sure why the game is saying it's missing because afaik it doesn't exist.
Aside from crosshair1 to crosshair7 there is Default and None. Neither are ever referenced as crosshair0 in the game files
Did you make a VMT and VTF called crosshair0 in custom and have the weapon txt files use this crosshair0 but without the right path, causing it to check vgui instead of custom?
sendso we're fining people for saying mean things online now?
it's his job. None of that "haha it's just a game dude relax haha" shit. That stops applying once some company pays a couple of millions so he can play videogames for a living.
If a football player would say something like that in public they'd face a suspension and the club would be fined. At least that's how things are handled where I live and that's exactly how OWL handled it as well.
