Are you hearing your mic's audio + whatever else there might be, or just what your mic transmits?

I'm looking for a CRT that I can run at a high refresh rate (120hz+), obviously not looking to spend that much on it given how most CRTs are just getting thrown away. I live in eastern MA, picking up wouldn't be hard so long as it's a reasonable distance away.
What are some good ways of finding high quality CRTs? Naturally there's a bunch on Craigslist/Ebay, but they're all pretty bad in terms of res/refresh rate.
What kind of things would be possible with an API that are not now/are too time consuming now?

In mumble, you can local mute people, though you would have to do that one at a time.
develop timesink hobbies and then find people through them
I'm reasonably certain that browsers wouldn't allow websites to look through cookies for other sites, so yes, you would probably have to log into the site before anything bad could happen. Though it probably looks identical to the real thing.
To be honest, unless you have the best reflexes of all time and a 120hz monitor, point-blank reflects are more prediction then anything else. If you're playing soldier/demo and you run into a pyro as you turn a corner, the dumbest thing you can do is shoot as fast as you can. Unless you have a legitimately high chance of dying from the airblast itself, you can just wait until they puff you and then direct them. If you've had the horrible experience of playing MGE with/as a pyro, then you know full well that it comes down to how well the soldier can trick the pyro into airblasting.
PowerofTowerI honestly don't mind most of the pyro attributes listed in this thread. The only keyboard-smashing, monitor-punching, rage-inducing thing about pyro is the fucking tractor beam airblast. Reflect my projectiles? fine. Crit me with flares/axe? I had it coming. Push me in the direction that you airblasted? ok fine. But airblast me and cause me to lose all momentum in any direction so I'm just hanging uselessly in the middle of the air? FUCK YOU YOU PIECE OF SHIT.
This is pretty much it, being able to control your opponent's movement in an fps is pretty bullshit. They nerfed it by fixing groundstalling, but the fact that a pyro can not only change your direction and remove momentum, but also make airstrafing less effective for a period of time is pretty dumb, especially because of how fast it fires.
It depends on your graphics card. If you have an Nvidia card, you can set the LOD bias for TF2 to 0x0000078 in NvidiaInspector, and I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it with an AMD card as well.

snd_mixahead, set it to 0.05
Honestly, I've played entirely pugs for about 6 months, at least 8 months of DM/MGE type-stuff before that, and in the last week or so where I've been on a team with some friends I've probably gotten better then in the last 1/2 year, simply because we did demo reviews. Being able to see how stupidly you play is probably the best thing to get better, you can get the best DM in the world, but if you try and hold forward after wiping at mid, you will lose.
They are the same panel. Get the cheaper one. Colors can be calibrated, it's just a different stock calibration.
