#7 Masters of Classes powered by TF2Stadium in Events
flufnWill every class be recorded?
If not which classes will be recorded?

every effort is being made to ensure that all classes have at the very least a mumble recording, many that are not on the main stream will also have a desktop recording/secondary stream attached to them. All of that content will, in good time mind you, be uploaded to the tf2stadium youtube.

#49 the unpugable maps in TF2 General Discussion
trashindecencysaamclckwrkbut i feel like that's a waste of time when a new map can be made that will be better and can replace it.
im not sure how true that part is when people have been trying to make better maps for a while and they never seem to be worth anyone's time

sunshine?
that's one map within the past two years. the actual pace of people accepting new maps is incredibly slow, and given how even phi has talked about being discouraged from making new competitive maps, I don't think that's the mapmakers' fault

I do, its because mappers are bad at taking feedback and filtering good feedback from bad feedback. They shelter their maps behind doors/with just other mappers until it is a major pain in the ass to change geometry, then come here and get shit on by the Geneva Convention breaking levels of weapons grade autism interspersed with legitimate feedback and take none of it, quit, or just release their map and vow never to return to the hated "competitive community".

It is the same as any artistic medium, the critics are there because they believe in you and want to see your map get better so we can play on it. If it was really just a shit tier fuckfest every step of the way, we just wouldn't play or comment on it.

I played on wildfire (Phi's new map) the other night and it has a LOT of potential, but it also needs a lot of work. If she posted it here, I am positive that she would get tons of great advice (along with the trolls and shit heads), but its in like beta2, so it feels off to suggest that entire flanks be removed or chokes be reworked this late in the cycle.

In order to get a really good map, we need a dedicated mapper to come to us with something that they are okay working over several times, combing through it and taking feedback on the face every step of the way.

#5 cp_gravelpit testing in Map Discussion

when we play tested it in new-new map pugs, the drastic shortening of the cap times took away a TON of defensive tactical possibilities. Things like retreating to C then repushing to keep B became completely undoable unless organized extremely quickly.

Removing interesting dynamics like that took away the huge amounts of fun I derived from the map.

#26 New-New Map Pugs in TF2 General Discussion

the timer changes to gravelpit took away a lot of the strategic options for defending and reduced the complexity and fun factor of that map. Coordination is now less of an issue for defense entirely.

#30 Black OPS 3 in Other Games
downpourdrshdwpuppetI've been playing the single player and it is probably the best single player cod since 4. For the first time in 8 years, they managed to make a single player where I feel like I am playing more than a shooting gallery on tracks.(sorry but someone has said this of every CoD since MW1 came out lol, it honestly doesnt mean anything anymore
People said BLOPs 2 had an amazing story and it really didnt. same thing with AW.

blops 2 and AW were both pretty garbage in terms of story.

At least in BO3 there are "spells" and most areas have several different ways you can complete them. Sure, they all boil down to shooting people, but there are normally 2-3 different paths through a room, each different. Sniping is pretty viable for most of the campaign, but some of the powerups reward getting in the enemy's face and using a mixture of melee and close range guns to kill them. Is it as varied in choice and strategy as other games? Hell no, but for a call of duty its quite good.

I also said literally nothing about the story, now that I have completed the story however, I do like it. It's not amazing, and it gets... weird, but its a pretty big departure from standard COD fare, which is what I am, at the end of the day, applauding in this game. This is the first time since COD4 that I feel substantial and interesting improvements and changes have been made to the franchise, and I hope Treyarch continue that trend into the future.

I like that your character has more customization potential, I like that I can choose a loadout before a mission instead of relying on whatever the dev thinks I should be using, I like the power ups and spells I can use and I like that there are zero (or very very few) quick time events.

#6 mouse problems in Hardware

It sounds like the internal connection for the cord might be getting lose out frayed.

I was a deathadder user for years, but one day my original broke and I easily went through 6 or 7 in a year period. Buttons would break mostly, though cable issues and one just up and died mid match. Razer replaced them all free of charge no questions asked, but I stopped being willing to wait a week for that process before getting another mouse every month or two.

Eventually I just switched to Logitech and haven't had a problem with my g400s.

Try a restart, try different computer. I hope you are still under warranty though cause you may be using it.

It's almost fps meets fantasy rpg with power ups and leveling and even honest to god boss fights. Sure, it's still call of duty first person shooty action and the mechanics are only just flushed out enough to not be a gimmick, but I am having fun.

And with hope of a maybe promod? God I miss organized cod4 and this might finally be the replacement.

One weird bug I was having was the game kept trying to use all 4 cores and then gets set to low priority. There is an option in the config.ini to change that and so long as I don't mess with graphics settings in game, it's fine.

Oh, and none of that bullshit where they give you this awesome as fuck toy, then never let you touch it again. Seriously Advanced Warfare: dont give me wallhacks and drones to play with, then only let me use them once :(

#2 LFT Low-Mid Open Medic in Recruitment (looking for team)

An exceptionally competent new medic who, through newbie mixes and talking to his various coaches, has built up quite the support network. Any low-mid to mid team looking for an up and coming medic talent should not be afraid to give Panacea a try. He calls well, positions well and has level-appropriate mechanics across the board.

I am glad to see you are going for ESEA this season, gl mate and don't hesitate to hmu with questions.

#83 "Masters of Classes" powered by TF2Stadium in Projects

A good number of the classes will be streamed live on tftv, some other classes will be streamed by their respective instructors. Most, if not all, classes will be recorded on VOD and uploaded to youtube later.

#14 "Masters of Classes" powered by TF2Stadium in Projects

coaches were chosen based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, access, availability, personal skill and proven teaching ability. It is in no way a statement that any player teaching a class is in some way the best player at that class or topic.
