No one gets any brackets until teams sign up on the site and pay TheFragile.
DM servers are now properly starting the soap dm plugin.
Ok videogamers. The hardware dude gave the tf2 servers a new IP but didn't let me know!
So, the information on the website will be setup soon. Hit me up here or on steam if you are having any problems at all!
ikpureI'd love to make a gxl highlight video if a significant amount of people attending record demos. Not sure if anyone else is doing it.
There will be stv recordings
It is literally on the same page as the original question and on the front page that this is being casted and produced. Please read.
We are aware servers are not updated from last night, I am trying to get a hold of the only person on site who can fix that.
Ok guys, this year instead of the google docs, I worked on a solution over the last little while.
Please register yourself and your teams at http://tf2atgxl.com/
The website isn't perfect because I had to rush to get it done in time for GXL, but it should work just fine for the event, and this will be a good beta test. I will be keeping a google spreadsheet simultaneously if for some reason this doesn't work out.
Matches, server assignments and other things will be done there. If you have any problems, hit me up on steam, here on tftv, in mumble at the event or if you see me walking around.
lucrativeDoes anyone have an extra decently sized mousepad they would let me borrow? Accidentally forgot mine when I left :(
I have a puretrack talent that I wont need because I am not playing. I get in late friday evening.
radiumHave fun guys, I won't be making it (family member is in the hospital and I'd like to visit over the weekend).
Take pictures!
:(
DanceNumberdrshdwpuppetwrechedddddFragile, I want to bring a small desktop that has a linux tf2 server(s) on it for mge, scrims, whatever. If I bring my own network switch, is this possible?
Also for anyone that needs it, im bringing a dell 17" monitor as a spare. first to pm/message me, its urs for the lan
MGE, DM and PUG servers will be provided. Scrim servers can be arranged with contact to me (I did it for the invite teams last year, but anyone can have one)
You /can/ bring your linux tf2 stuff to LAN, but I cannot promise everyone will be able to connect to it. In addition, you are only guaranteed two power outlets and one ethernet port, and adding your own switches is not allowed.
Do i need an ethernet cable, the only other lan i've been too (which was like 10 years ago) i needed one.
Yes, you do need an ethernet cable, as well as a power strip, though I know many people will bring extra and your neighbors will probably be okay with sharing a power strip with you.

HidiI've pitched my desire to help a few times now. I'm still up for doing that. The GXL asked for interested volunteers on their end to fill out a form, and I did so, noting I was most interested in helping you guys out. Was that okay?
It might be easiest to just hit up TheFragile or Kevin
