I don't get why all the pug/scrim servers for tf2 don't just get turned into match servers because people never use them. There are at least 15 servers that are pug/scrim ones that can be turned into match servers and that might or might not fix the scheduling problem.

ZimmySpectatorGUIHealth.res - PlayerStatusHealthImage(BG)
Thanks.
This is a pretty simple question for someone who knows how to disable it so help
http://i.imgur.com/5OYsKWk.png
That is what I mean by "teammate health cross"
I know how to mostly edit hud stuff so all I need to know is where the .res hud file is in resource/ui or some other place and what I need to disable in whatever .res its located in.
I upgraded my GT 610 gpu to a gtx 660 and I get about a 150-200 fps boost, so if you get a gpu like the gtx 660 or higher you will most likely get the same results.
Make sure you upgrade your psu to at least 500 Watts because most higher end gpus need more power. The gtx 660 needs at least 450 I believe?
I don't know much about all this computer stuff so I don't know how much fps you'll get with the card you want to buy but I'm guessing its somewhere around 50-100
or I might be wrong and you'll only get 30 don't take my word on the 50-100 thing
If you're not playing on any of the maps that buff your health up you can use this config
sv_cheats 1
tf_weapon_criticals 0
wait 5;ent_fire !self addoutput "targetname player_me"
wait 5;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "classname func_regenerate_temp"
wait 5;ent_fire info_target addoutput "classname info_target_temp"
wait 10;give info_target
wait 10;give func_regenerate
wait 20;ent_fire info_target addoutput "targetname mytarget"
wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "StartDisabled 1"
wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "mins -100 -100 -100"
wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "maxs 100 100 100"
wait 30;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "solid 2"
wait 30;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "spawnflags 1"
wait 30;ent_fire info_target setparent player_me
wait 33;ent_fire func_regenerate setparent mytarget
wait 35;ent_fire func_regenerate enable
wait 40;echo "I love choco so hard!"
Just name it w/e, as long as it has .cfg at the end and you put it in the right config folder. When you make your own offline server you just type "exec whatevernameyoucalledit.cfg" in the console.
It'll basically regen your health to max every 1-2 seconds so you don't have to do the hurtme thing unless you're doing 3-8 sticky jumps at the same time.
Sorry if this didn't help you
MR_SLINedypug.na is full of giant circle jerks so a non invite/main/known IM player will probably never get picked (with the exception of great community members like truk truk or something similar)truktruk is at least an IM level scout...
But he gets picked in pug.nas all the time just for being an awesome person. I have no doubt in my mind that he's an IM scout or maybe even higher if he cared enough but just being a known commentator/surfer/streamer you'll probably get picked in the mass circle jerks of pug.na if enough people know you're good at those things.
Especially if when you do get picked you prove to everyone that you can actually play at the level pug.na is at. And he does that every time he gets to play.

tf2.mix is horrible from what I remember playing those things a year ago. Almost the definition of cancer sometimes.
tf2.pug.nahl is ok when I use to play those 4 or 5 months ago but from what I understand they're even more dead now?
idk anything about tf2.mix.nahl but I think it's dead so all the steel/silver players that will never get picked in pug.nahl are forced to play tf2center if they want to warmup before scrims if they don't want to mge/dm so that sucks for them
I only ever like pugging when people invite me to inhouse with them, and it's with people that know how to have fun because its just a pug (shout out to rayspugs). Otherwise playing on a team + dm/mge make you a much better player than pugs ever will unless you main medic.
go coL!!
DavidTheWinI like how Robin Walker says TF2 needs to innovate with weapons and uses DotA 2 as an example, a game with what like 120 heroes that have different abilities and can make use of different items in different ways, often sharing items between heroes whereas TF2 is 90% cosmetics or gimmicky weapons among 9 (usually 4 though) classes with few multiclass weapons. Also TF2 has innovation in different areas, we have a good number of maps to play whereas so far as I know, DotA 2 only has one.
There's no point to having new maps in dota because the map layout will most likely be the same because that's what the same is based around (having a mid, having a jungle, having an offlane, etc) where as tf2 is an fps game. FPS games use different maps, so that's a bad example.
But I agree with what everything else you said. TF2 doesn't need some pick/ban system because that is completely pointless. The weapons that we currently use in 6s and the weapons that are banned are used and banned for a reason.
So if Robin would put in a lobby matchmaking system that uses some kind of pick/ban thing I don't see the point because ugc/etf2l/esea/whatever else isn't going to use that so it'd just be confusing for new players getting into leagues.
The best way you get better at dm in general is by playing against real people. Playing against bots isn't going to do much because they don't simulate the same patterns and shit real people do (like actually strafing and stuff).
aka spire mge until your eyes bleed
I'm sure you're some kind of IM scout god or something but if you don't say what past teams you played on you're probably going to get laughed at.
Doubt any teams are looking for roamer mains this close to both cevo/esea starting but figure I'll try.
I say I play roamer at a high open level but I don't mind if your team is a lower level team just as long as you like the idea of improving and don't like the idea of dying mid season. I like doing whatever your team needs me to do in terms of demo reviews/map reviews/whatever else there is. I can scrim almost any day of the week but prefer the sun-thurs 9-11 scrim/match schedule.
ESEA-O S14: Fashion Police - Starting roamer
ESEA-O S15: LARGE gamers - backup soldier/scout (played 2 matches as pocket)

phobiasky_Not all people can afford gaming computers.Starkasthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-tAHT6MfGYHow can someone have fun playing tf2 like that when there's PC tf2? It looks like a newbie mix.
I Bought my computer from amazon like a year ago for $500 and it runs tf2 at 200-300 fps, but it runs any other game like csgo or bf4 at 30-90 fps. I don't think you need a gaming computer for a 7 year old game.
