Most of those are either bugs or grandfathered in because no one unbanned them after release
Panic attack, Tide Turner, and I think the BB just never got unbanned because no one would ever actually use them
Cleaner's Carbine used to do full crits so it got banned and no one bothered to unban it
Gunslinger was gay in season 8 finals
Phlog and the Parachute had/ve bugs on release. The chute causes a crash on clients, and the phlog can still cap while doing the taunt
DX8 made the Bleed effect on the other two basically a flashbang, but since DX8 is dead maybe we should reconsider? They're both still stupid because you nail someone at mid and that's like a guaranteed heal beam on that dude

-fish-So since the suspects turn out to be Muslim this is suddenly a gun-control issue?
I'm just looking on twitter and comparing this to the Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado. It was called a hate crime cause by "toxic rhetoric" among also being called terrorism. However, when the suspects are Muslim this is now about gun-control.
its a bit nuanced and hard to follow :) but its possible for more than one factor to be a cause of something

you are greatly overestimating the cross-section of players that buys expensive weapons and turns viewmodels off
pretty much all serious players turn them off eventually
like a fair amount of comp players have festives or aussies soooo

kirbyKanecoOf course they're killing off dx8 because of skins, why is it not obvious, it's the main difference to dx9 since the last updates, and obviously they wanna make skins a real thing that has a lot of leverage in the game and comp community like in CSGO which is definitely not a bad thing.
Do you think their mentality, considering this to be true, that people without rarer skins will see them on, say, a killcam and think, "oh wow, that skin is amazing! I need to buy it/the crate!"? Besides that, I can't imagine what other importance forcing skins in competitive has. It's not like I'm gonna see some guy with a top notch, factory new, unusual weapon skin and think he's good at the game or anything. I guess some people are that naive.
they want twitch streamers (b4nny or whoever is popular) to use skins and show them off, so that his 500(0) viewers all see the cool guns he and his friends use so they can get mad advertising for free.
its not complicated, the majority of the twitch streams running and being viewed are being seen through a players POV, with configs and all, not the tourney pov with the frag vid config on. If they don't set a floor, players WILL turn off the skins.
also yr dumb if you don't target the dude in the pub with the unusual first
