DaftswingSo, I recently downloaded this and there is a problem with the flamethrower where it does a inspect animation type thing every couple of seconds blocking your entire screen. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?
yttrium abandoned the project before many animations have changed or have been added, you can either edit the .mdl files yourself or use the ones i posted above

it has the same effect as winger but it takes longer to deploy and you can't fight while doing it
68 damage on headshot, if you'd hit the headshot for 150 instead the target is more likely to die
it was allowed when it wasn't up to +3 hp/hit but +5 hp/hit (yes, now it fires faster)

it reduces the only thing pyro is useful for, which is airblast
this said, i very much enjoy playing without all the annoying unlocks and offclasses, been organizing inhouse pugs with essential unlocks and 6s classes only
when you're playing in an environment where every one is trying to win you should never encounter these unlocks since they're are in most of the situations way less effective than "meta" items and if they're effective to kill one player they will become awful when you encounter another opponent 5 seconds later
also the aim of the competitive community (not everyone in it) is to get valve to support us and accept the way we play the game and this is one of the necessary evils it requires

none of the currently banned weapons have any remote reason to be unbanned besides potentially the dragon's fury if the new hitbox is tested and found to be acceptable; even that i doubt considering the stupid firing speed after hitting two shots.

overall i think you're doing good job but this map has too many flaws and a really bad reputation, unless you make drastic changes to the way this maps plays out i don't think there's is much reason to keep updating it

the bums on the ends of the fence shouldn't be solidyou can shoot through this fence here, i don't think it should be there at all, it serves no purpose and just negatively affects the fluidity of the movement in the area
