If you use Lightboost/blur reduction, you can't have it and G/Freesync on at the same time.
I haven't had the chance to use a G/Freesync monitor, so I can't say anything else.

HuckI put -windowed -noborder in my launch options and that fixed it for me. Haven't had an hl2 crash for a week and I used to get them 2-5 times a day.
already using window noborder.
And to clarify, I haven't had a crash with PREC uninstalled.
I'm not talking about the game crashing when starting a MM game with PREC installed. I'm talking about random crashes while I'm playing in pubs and tournament mode. The game will just seem to randomly crash with a "hl2.exe has stopped responding" message. I'm not sure if PREC is the one causing it, but I removed PREC and it seems a lot more stable.
I think last time ESEA considered merging divisions they were either going to cut Invite or both Invite and IM. Although that was back when TF2 Invite had a LAN so that was probably why they were going to cut Invite first instead of IM.
If ESEA didn't care about TF2, they wouldn't even have a 6s league.
aim-u guys literally arent going to change anything youre gonna be like lets boycott ugc and end up killing your format
just suck it up and play highlander
You're actually right. NA 6s almost died during ESEA S16 because people wanted to boycott ESEA and switch to CEVO. ESEA had given us a Main division the season before, but (iirc) the bitcoin thing combined with the apparent apathy towards us made people want to switch to CEVO. As a result, we lost Main (which we still haven't gotten back since) and were at risk of losing IM and Invite, if not ESEA as a whole. The community recovering but hasn't completely came back from that (I would say if we get Main again then we've completely recovered). If ESEA dropped TF2, I don't think it would have ever recovered and Overwatch would definitely kill it.
It's not the same situation here, as there's not really another league to play in (there's ETF2L, but that's not the best option). Lots of lower level players will likely not even care or realize that boycotting UGC is essentially the same as killing HL. However, if the majority of the HL playerbase decides to boycott then the death of the format is likely.
I'm in Indy but I'm still under 21 and going to bars/breweries is basically the only thing to do here so...
There are a few other people here though, I'm sure they'll see this by then.
From my outsider's perspective, if UGC dies it's because of the admins, not the players.
Tino_-ASTRA-Extended until May 24th. Seriously though, stop waiting for extensions. Was paying tonight anyways but ayyyyy
pay up anyway
fatswimdudeSteviehttp://esearegtracker.fwdcp.net/the stats for open are clearly incorrect
These are some concerning numbers. Seriously, if you're playing in ESEA this season, do not procrastinate to sign/payup!
That's literally less than a quarter of all the teams currently signed up. And it only includes one out of six teams that's already all paid up.
Still, make sure you sign/pay up ASAP!
CrymaQuickfire keyboards are really good. Also unless you have actually used the numpad and prefer it over regular numbers, don't get a TKL. It saves a lot of space tho.
You mean TK. TKL means tenkeyless, so no numpad at all. The Quickfire TK cuts out the section between the main section and the numpad, while the Quickfire Rapid (tenkeyless) just cuts off the numpad.

SCREAM is League Operations Manager with ESEA
Also we shouldn't forget that they won't extend just because some (or even most) TF2 teams decided to wait. CS is the main part of their business.
Also I'm looking for a low/mid open team as scout if someone needing that in that skill range needs one.
Edit: they really want to keep people waiting for extensions I guess
ShdSteelI thought this was actually going to be a decent thread by the title.
how? it could have literally been anything regarding guns.
FogSmesibtw it wouldn't be bad to bring back tf2.pug.nayes it would
Pugchamp is literally the same thing but way better because it's something made for 2016 and not 2010.
If you mean it would be nice to have something with a skill level between Center and Pugchamp, then that should be Mixchamp but no one uses it.
