#9 Random Access Memories Ad feat. Pharrell in Off Topic
huffhttps://soundcloud.com/exorior/daft-punk-get-lucky-feat LEAKED

Hmm, I don't think that's going to be the album version, the transitions in some places don't seem very smooth, but I'm still super happy to hear this, it's nice to have a version that has some of the past ad music into one.

#2 UGC Plat Highlander Playoffs: mTs vs. Ginyu Force in Events
Goat_Cheering for Ginyu, but is it true that Huey left Ginyu, and when yes why?
Didn't really catch the news sorry :/

It was a couple weeks ago, IIRC, but the reason is because he stopped having fun; he was doing a lot more work on managing the team than he wanted to and he felt that their playstyle was not matching that of his. Pudding Cup is his replacement (he was already on backup for Ginyu Force).

#24 Tip of the Hats feedback in TF2 General Discussion

What would help with a quicker turnaround of the highlights production is having someone dedicated solely to keeping track of events while the charity is happening (ie he/she would keep exact time markers).

Can't wait for the next one, this was fantastic and there is so much potential for growing it to further heights next time.

It seriously looks like John is trying to hide as an Asian. NICE TRY, JOHN.

Also, in order of left to right, SLIN, enigma, mana, Twitch John, mocha.

#6 Help me out, TF.TV! in Off Topic
AmaryllisOh, god. What happened?VirulenceHey now, this kind of barbed feedback is how people drop their pencils and never pick them up again. If tutoring English has taught me anything, it's that self-esteem is much harder to fix than grammar, spelling, or style.

This is poking me the wrong way now because I finished an essay clinic with a student whose English vocabulary could have very well consisted of her first name and the phrase "I can't." Just ease up a bit.

He was asking for raw criticism; SBARROHOTTOPIC was responding as he asked.

TJB, don't take criticism personally, take it with the goal of getting better. The fact that SBARROHOTTOPIC gave very solid criticism means that your work has merit and potential.

We do make up, like, 1/3rd of the world or something. Also, it turns out we're pretty good at this eSports thing.

blue-london_callingi passed out as soon as i got home hahaha! really fun to see some old faces and meet some new people. john is cute as fuck.

man that was pretty fun. i was stoked to see how many teams signed up. i know mana was streaming the tf2 tournament, but i wanted to watch the one he casted (the final)

anyone got a link for it?

http://www.twitch.tv/nulflo/b/390966502

there you go! i'm gonna watch it right now, since I had to leave early to drop people off.

The one casted with Rastsy is on their official Twitch stream, but I don't have the URL at the moment. It's on there, though, for sure. It was both my and Rastsy's (I think) first time casting, so, warnings. Haha.

I can't stop listening. It's just so freakin' good. If you haven't realized it, the album is on preorder for Amazon. Instantly bought.

Also, I've been really loving their Collaborators videos (short interviews with the collaborators of Daft Punk on RAM).

#4 Thank you, rays! in Off Topic
ArtemRays is a true baller. Helped me out with getting into competitive tf2.

He's an incredibly nice guy!

SBARROHOTTOPICIs this now a Rays appreciation thread?

Rayshud is probably the best HUD I've ever used, so thank you for that.

Sure, why not? We can always throw more love around. :)

#1 Thank you, rays! in Off Topic

I started up my stream again and last night after rays finished streaming, he sent over his 20+ viewers to my stream. It felt incredible to have that kind of support while bl4nk and Huey Lewis were streaming at the same time, so thank you, rays! If we somehow ever meet up in real life (what is that), the next meal's on me.

If you're unaware of who rays is, he's the creator of the fantastic rayshud, plays for Sunday Funday as an IM scout (spoiler alert, he's good at doing the fast shooty man) and occasionally streams other games. Please give him your generous viewership whenever he streams at http://twitch.tv/raysfire.

KevinEdwardsJrIs so small and really has no potential to be a competitive game...

I point you to i46, and the current fundraiser for i49, and the fact that IPL was legitimately considering picking up TF2.

Competitive TF2 is not a joke.

#14 Tip of the Hats feedback in TF2 General Discussion
KanecoI feel there is a huge missed oportunity if we don't try these kind of events more often, for example for i49 (and altought we already reached half the money) there could be some events like this.

i49 is waiting to make a timing push in conjunction with the ESEA LAN finals. :) A lot of people are waiting to donate to a confirmed team.

Seems like people's suggestions in this thread already make a lot of sense; more cameras to take the load off of truktruk (holy crap dude), more manpower for publicity, especially reaching pub groups (there are a ton). A special exclusive message for a "gold" level sponsorship would probably entice them to donate a bit more than average.

Overall, Tip of the Hats was absolutely exceptional. It's amazing that that much was raised for charity in such a short amount of time. Absolutely astounding.

Kalkin didn't win anything from the raffle. :(

Fanom, enigma, Twitch John, and vile did, if I remember right. Was a good LAN, congrats to enigma's team for winning both TF2 and LoL (which was the TF2 team -Kalkin)!

And nice to see all of you that either played or came out to hang out! CU@NEXTLAN.

#8 Opinion on Mice? in Hardware
r4ptureI usually say the G400 is the best but even it has some problems. I play at ultra-low sens (raw mouse input, 400 dpi), and sometimes when I do a fast flick for a rocket jump it will spaz out. I don't know if its just my mouse or what but I don't know a better one offhand unfortunately.

I'd be open for suggestions of mice that work perfectly on quick movements on ultra-low sens.

I've had mine since November, I think you got unlucky. Definitely have not seen anything like that and I spaz my mouse out like all the time.

OblivionageDo you guys think the g400 is the best out of the g-series for gaming?

I don't think there's another mouse (in production) that should be considered, if only because it's an optical mouse (unaware of other mice). If not, I've heard good things about the G9 and G500 series mice, but I don't know much about them.
