#50 Steam winter sale what to buy? in Other Games
toads_tfI can't tell if you're utterly out shitposting me or you couldn't tell I was making fun of some weeb on my friends list who wrote that review

nah your screenshot just reminded me of the game i recommended, it really is pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised because before I played it I kind of had the impression that visual novels were mostly catgirls and shitty writing.

toads_tf-catgirls-

If you actually want to play something on sale in the visual novel genre with a 'pretty amazing' story, get danganronpa. It's a really well-written murder mystery with rpg elements. I honestly can't recommend it enough, it and its sequel are the best games I've played this year.

Maybe don't play it if you absolutely hate reading because there is a lot of text (as the visual novel tag would indicate) but it also has lots of gameplay elements. And the soundtrack is top notch as well. This is probably the best 'art' in the form of a game I've ever played, just because the story and the gameplay are tailored so well together. And are both so surprising sometimes. This is not your typical weeb game.

Also the closest thing to a catgirl in that game is a badass murderous teddy bear. So that's good.

#4 Anyone interested in a PC Build Guide? in Hardware

Well given that you already basically prepare everyone here's builds for them if they ask making a guide might save you time in the long run. If you can generalise it well then it might end up being a lot of people's go to for recommending parts.

As in, if you just explain briefly what parts people should prioritise for which applications, eg cpu over gpu for tf2, more gpu focused for csgo/overwatch, anything that can run windows xp for a moba etc, then it will probably be more broadly useful to more people without requiring much more time to make. And it should stay somewhat relevant even if you/others do quit this game.

#65 TFCL - North American League in Projects
SidularAnd Demoman... not quite sure on that one just yet. I want to somehow lower the risk of constant sticky spam, as to hopefully promote and encourage trapping and pipe aim. As for how we'll do not? Not sure. I'm open to suggestions though.

"Sticky spam" is how you play demoman. Pipes are unreliable and traps... in mge...????? Just no.

Then again, demoman v demoman is a stupid matchup anyway.

#19 TF2 update for 11/18/16 (11/19/16 UTC) in TF2 General Discussion
AnAkkkVery good news, I sent an email to Valve asking them if they could add the CS GO voice codec 3 days ago. I did not expect them to add it this quickly, but I'm happy they did :)

lol people have been asking for a non retarded in game codec for months if not years, if they did do this because of a random email that's pretty sad and if it's taken them this long to get around to it it's even sadder...

#61 Would you play an MGE Tournament with a prizepool? in TF2 General Discussion
SpaceCadetnopealso mge is only fun when it's used as a training tool anyway, do you really want to play against a counterjumping idiot? Or a scout who always presses s? I know I can't stand it even normally, let alone in a damn tournament with money on the line
If you have trouble adapting to different play styles that are used in MGE, I would suggest not entering a competitive tournament where all bets are off as far as tactics are concerned. Winning is the goal.

Don't waste your $5. You do have a choice.

mge's not about winning you spud, that's the entire reason why this idea is fucking stupid

Contranopemge is boring to watch
in-game and with first-person view while waiting to figtht, yes.

but third-person and casted? I think it has the potential to be entertaining, especially with shorter-rounds and counter class-and-map-picks

third person is 10x worse than first person for spectating this game

#15 Would you play an MGE Tournament with a prizepool? in TF2 General Discussion

mge is boring to watch and apart from scout duels, soldier duels, scout v soldier and demo v scout/soldier every other matchup in the game sucks

plus only scout mains like scout v scout anyway so you're left with not many choices

this is probably not a good idea to go through with

#84 sigafoo cup hype in TF2 General Discussion

this was a retarded idea when it was 6v6 changing the playercount doesn't make any fucking difference

it doesn't matter sigafoo is an idiot who wants his portable aimbot to be viable at high levels so he doesn't have to learn how to aim but it's never going to happen

Your desired candidate lost because more people have an opinion that differs to your's OK that's how democracy works now please keep your F- tier memes to yourself while we discuss important things like the next iteration of the Global Whitelist™

Sorry but uneducated white Americans putting the nuclear launch codes in the hands of one of the biggest morons in the world is just slightly more important than the next iteration of the Team Fortress 2 Global Whitelist™ Dead Game Edition.
