#12 ESEA s14 LAN Highlight Frag vid by flippers in TF2 General Discussion

That was awesome. Gotta say the conch play by mixup was probably one of the most memorable plays I've ever seen. The only qualm I had was with the team logos. I kinda liked them, but at the same time I felt like they were sort of distracting. Besides that, I think everything was great.

#9 Adding 3D Model to Custom HUDs in Customization

Try setting your classmodelpanel and classmodelpanelBG xpos and ypos values to 9999. I dont have TF2 on this comp otherwise I'd double check for you, but I'm pretty sure that will work.

edit: also I dont think you can turn it on only for specific classes, but i think the red/blu panel background is separate from the spy disguise model so it will still be there even if you move the panel BG offscreen.

#486 Show your HUD modifications! in Customization
ControlopeWhile I don't have the DL link, it is very easy to do yourself if you have notepad++. Simply open ClientScheme.res and hit Search -> Replace (CTRL+H). Replace all instances of FuturaStd-Medium with TF2 Secondary, and then replace all instances of FuturaStd-Heavy with TF2 Build.

Pyyyour made a few more modifications, notably changing the killfeed font to "FuturaHeavy13" and the damage indicator font to "Futura20", as well as changing the color of ammo in clip to omp's green.

Worked beautifully, thank ya!

#473 Show your HUD modifications! in Customization

I was watching pure's stream yesterday and he was using omphud but modified with tf2 font. Someone said that omp made it and had it uploaded, but I can't seem to find it. Anybody have it or a DL link? Thanks

#4 Buying a PC in Hardware

Building your own computer gives you way more performance for price. Assembling it is not really that difficult and its good to know how to do it if you ever want to upgrade or change out parts. If you're worried about not doing something right you can always get a friend to help you out or something. I'd definitely recommend building up your own rig.

#1 Installing tf2 separate from other drives? in Q/A Help

Hey, so I'm gonna be building a new rig soon with an SSD and a separate harddrive and I'm wondering if I could put tf2 on the SSD and all my other games on the harddrive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
