I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens in Germany aswell soon. If this is the Islamists (which everyone is saying it is) then putin bombing the fuck outta them in syria isn't gonna help. These extremists have been able to spread themselves out across Europe already and these people seem to have no intention of stopping this. Hope everyone in Paris is safe but I think this event is going to end up causing widespread fear and panic all over the EU. It feels as if these people have won and something needs to change so this doesn't happen again.

Gotta strongly disagree here. I think dm is probably a lot better but considering good aim is so important on scout I have to say that I think pubs are kinda useless. In pubs people literally just walk in straight lines all the time making them super easy to hit. If you play mge then people will move more like they do in competitive so your aim will improve if you play a lot of it.

I see this attitude in a lot of top players who have been playing since 2007 that think that MGE is useless since they got good without it (not everyone has 8 years to improve). I have seen a lot of scouts become really good by just playing 6 hours of non stop mge everyday and then finding a team where they can learn how to play 6v6 (NiCO for example)

i'm not going to dreamhack but a few people who are going I would assume are taking some sort of medication that is prescribed for them. It clearly says "Alcohol and drugs in ANY form do not belong" doesn't this mean that anyone with any kind of drug legally prescribed or not won't be allowed in? This would mean me and many others wouldn't be allowed in right?

I remember at i55 they checked my bag for any outside alcohol when I went in so i'm guessing they will do the same at dreamhack.

What if someone has extreme ADHD and needs to take in Ritalin or Adderal or has chronic pain and needs to take in morphine. Would you be allowed in if you had proof of a prescription which i wouldn't know how that works if you are taking it in from another country. I would be pretty pissed if I went all the way to dreamhack to then not be allowed in cause of my meds.

The more fundraisers the less people will donate. LEGO have only like £100 aswell. You will get more donations in the future of course but I wouldn't expect to get all that much. I55 had a huge fundraiser just a few months ago that a lot of people put a lot of their hard earned money into. Now we have 3 different donation drives in the past like 4 days. People who donated to i55 are a lot less likely to donate again to a different tournament a few months later that isn't nearly as big (only 4 teams). Also since LEGO have a fundraiser up as well and shadowburn made one a few days ago people might just want to only donate to one of these fundraisers. Considering the TF2 community has gone huge with donations in the last few summer I-Series events I could understand why a lot of people won't be wanting to donate to this as well. I hope you get enough to make it there though.

I really appreciate how you guys seem to be the only people actually being honest about milking money from the TF2 community. It feels like some other fundraisers recently have been doing it but have made up some excuses so that people will be more likely to donate more money. There's nothing wrong with asking for money but I feel like its really important that you are 100% honest about what the money is for, what you will do with it and how much you really need it. In my eyes asking for donations and claiming you need it for something that you don't actually need and then spending it on something else is no better than stealing.

DreamHack is just under a month away and I need a little help getting there. Since i'm not properly affiliated with a team at the moment and no one will sponsor me to get there I am looking to fund raise part of the money I need to get there (to spectate)

I need about £1000 from you guys. This is gonna go towards my travel expenses and my holiday to Japan. The other £540 or so in costs will be covered by the leftovers from my last donation drive.

Hope you can help. Do people want perks? I will offer ERP, Anime recommendations and maybe 3 rounds of MGE if I feel like it. Originally I was going to do this through indiegogo for ease of perks but that would take too long to receive the money (I want to start booking my hotels and buy some costumes for Japan now). With imraising there's no option for that, however there are messages so perhaps something can be done.
