I don't mind the name change. Just gotta say it pro-duct with a long O. Anyway, I love this map. You guys and the other map makers in the community are doing a huge service and deserve recognition. Metalworks, and Coalplant can get the process, gullywash, and snakewater treatment of being adopted officially by Valve.

I'd also love to see Viaduct Pro, Barnblitz Pro, and Badwater Pro replace the pub versions, or at least be offered on Valve pubs in some other fashion. Do you guys think Valve would consider updating their stock maps to these, or incorporating most of the changes? I bet pub players would enjoy a fresh take on these maps.

I searched before making the thread, and those speedtest posting threads did not really address what i'm asking.

Some time last year we had someone from Comcast come out with a tester and get our modem plugged in where the signal wasn't split at all. We've moved since then, so it's possible we're set up improperly again.

Was replacing the cabling just putting new cables in, or rearranging the existing cables? I'm not exactly sure what you did that fixed it, but if you can be a little more specific I'll make that my next thing to try.

I personally think that stuff people would actually use (tftvAirshot, like Maks suggested) would get a lot more subscribers than just faces of casters or players.

I just wanted to get a feel for what kind of internet connections people use to play, and their experience with it in the context of gaming. It would be great to hear about steps you've taken to improve things and how they turned out, to help anyone else that may have similar issues.

I live in a fairly rural area of Minnesota and my ISP is Midcontinent Media. We get good speeds, but I get a ton of ping spikes of the kind where I simply can't move my character until it stops. Makes playing competitive really unfun when it acts up.

I'm going to try running a long-ass ethernet cable across the house to see if it's just the Wi-Fi, and if that works, I want to try putting a hole in the wall and getting an ethernet wall outlet thing for my room.

What's your setup, and how is it working out for you?

With Far Cry 3, Ubisoft demonstrated that they can make a beautiful open world FPS that doesn't control like garbage. I hope with all my heart that Bethesda will take note, but what I've seen is already convincing me to spend $60 if the world and the gameplay can match what Fallout 3 had.

protecting yourself from shapeshifting incesters is pretty hard. i would recommend having sex with a corpse so you can gain shapeshifting powers, and then you'll be able to hide better from them.

The only people UGC ever league banned for forum posting are the people who posted their genitalia on the forums and got the league's ad sponsorships revoked (costing league owner a lot of money), and the people who posted pictures implying sexual abuse of another player's children. The post that got Mustard forum banned was already discussed here.

Just wanted to re-assert. Mustard is not banned from UGC. He received a temporary forum ban.

None of his criticisms are founded in any facts, so I don't really see a point in replying. He's wrong, the other admins and I do our volunteer jobs well, and maybe one day he'll get over his esports anarchist delusions and see that.
