Valve has completely separate teams with completely different people working on CSGO and TF2. To treat them the same just because they are both under Valve is asinine. Also, these tweaks are after years of official support so being on the leash of the CSGO team has a tangible payoff.
To counter the TF2 team has ceased communication other then add things to the game that other people made. The TF2 team has ludicriously few resources. To expect a tournament to provide that final sliver of data about weapon balance to cause the TF2 team to rush out of their bunker and grace us with any kind of support is lunacy.
Once again, sigafoo can do whatever he wants with his money and people are free to play, but no valuable change will come from this tournament.

This has been the longest void between major content updates in the history of the game.
Meet your Match was on July 7, 2016. The start of Jungle Inferno was on October 16, 2017. The gap is 1 year, 3 months, and 9 days, with Jungle Inferno being heavily teased as something that is actually happening.
The last day of Jungle Inferno was October 20, 2017. Today is February 10, 2019. The gap is 1 year, 3 months, and 21 days, without any indication of what is going on.
Yeah guys, Valve really cares and we should continue to pander to this company's wishes.
Oh and also, b4nny's big valve visit was 2 years, 9 months, and 7 days ago.
That being said, it's sigafoo's own money and league and he can do whatever the fuck he wants with it.
