just played a lobby on it
FubarYou guys found that thing quicker than I would have imagined. Let's just say I wanted to have a little fun :p all work and no play makes fubar a dull boy
etney spent the entire fucking lobby jumping around as soda popper scout capping the intel
IncoWho uses the workshop for Skyrim modding anyway?
Literally nobody. The amount of "workshop exclusive" mods can be counted on my middle finger.
rQwireGreat job showing Skyrim, a game where having out-dated mods can make the game unplayable, as the first example of this new system. Oh boy, can't wait to pay for a mod only to have its creator stop supporting it and become unusable after a month, or have a few of the paid mods conflict with each other.
That's part of the "if it doesn't work, refund it" policy I guess.
Also, Skyirm mods on the workshop can't have ESMs, so you won't see very big mods here. They also can't tend to interact with SKSE, iirc, so you won't see major reworks here. Just shitty little addons like the swords they're showing off. No fucking ENB presets.
Seriously though, you're already ready. The best way to get started is to find a team of people that you'll actually talk to. Don't just post on the UGC LFT forum and find some group of randoms you'll never communicate with except during a match. Find friends, or make friends. Talk to these people outside of just matches, and your entire experience will be a hell of a lot more fulfilling.
While everyone hates that Pyro main that never shows up to practice and only shows up to a match two minutes before it starts, everyone also pities him because he's missing out on one of the best experiences in eSports.
EoNeven the best players win and lose matches left and right
TrademarkI have a i5 4690k, GTX 970 and i max graphics i get shit frames IE (Less than 120) for the most part
That's really odd, I get around 100 with a 2500k @ 5GHz, 970, and maxed graphics. 4x MSAA, no TXAA or FXAA. 1080p. This is after the NVIDIA driver that majorly boosted performance, and after Update/Patch 2, which removed the constant stuttering and slightly increased performance too.
MvM isn't really something that can be voted on like this. The people that play it seriously are a really low denomination that wouldn't tend to be interested in this kind of thing.

BLAZE IT
Holy fuck I think I just watched porn of you
PhiHave you tried rebuilding cubemaps in-game in SFM? I would have no idea if that would fix the problem, but it could be a possible solution.
Yeah, can't remember what it did but it didn't fix the issue. Also tried recompiling and pretty much every texture stopped working.
PhiSorry for the RC6 mess, just went straight to RC7 so as to not add too much more to the confusion.
Damn, I'm sorry you had to go through something like that. I've had similar issues in the past and I know how much of a pain it can be.
Do you know if you fixed up any lighting issues in RC6/7 that could have caused what I mentioned earlier about SFM?
