we will be switching to automatic picking sometime today on mixchamp. after about a week I will post another poll to see if people still like it after experiencing it and we can always go back to captaining if needed.

so can we switch the map pool up on pugchamp yet? when almost half the maps on the site aren't in the current map pool it's kinda dumb

tbh mostly because changing the maps is more time consuming and erynn is the only person who can do it and she has to take care of the 3 sites by herself. I want to wait until this season is done because we might change what maps are played for season 4 so it's inefficient to change it now and then change it later

whats the reasoning behind not updating the NA mappool? I'm sure this has already been pointed out loads of times, but 3 of the maps currently in the pugchamp pool aren't being played in RGL. I feel like pugging would be a way more valid means of practice if all of the maps from RGL were included on the website, this includes mixchamp as well.

also, I feel like koth maps should definitely be added back. from what I understand, they were first removed because only having one koth in the pool lead to a pretty inconsistent experience(or something like that). now that theres more then one koth map being actively played, it seems fair that they get readded since not many of us get to practice koth outside of scrims.

The issues with rc3-rc5 are resolved in the latest version. Reckoner is still in the draft. It would be nice if we could have the option to play rc6 reckoner to test it, especially because the rc2 version is not currently in the season.

Badlands is an outdated map and nearly every pug on it is bad, especially bc uncoordinated teams cannot hold against the 1 second cap time. prolands rc1(2 sec cap) or rc2p (2 sec cap with new control point) would imo be better.

edit: sorry for pestering you with this apparently it's a logs.tf issue. i just assumed it was pugchamp related due to it not happening on serveme servers. but maybe it happens there too and i just didn't experience it personally
