it's also slightly less suspicious that his mouse didn't move at all for the shot. kind of n obscure thing to say, but throughout the video his mouse "flicks" when he clicks (like most people with medium/high sensitivity, even sometimes low), just a bit odd when combined with the insane reflexes of that shot.

edit: going to summarize my opinion from steam chats with bloodsire. if he is hacking, i'm betting that he's actually a pretty decent sniper even without. with that said, you can't claim anything based on this video I think. 1. it's a frag video 2. [trying not to sound conceited] while some of the shots were suspicious, I feel like even more were shots that I used to make back when I was good at sniper. 3. it's a frag video.

To me it just seems like he's toggling a triggerbot. He misses some seemingly easy shots at mid range when he's playing normally, but as soon as he starts to get focused by one player he activates the triggerbot and gets the kill that would have ended him.

That, or he cherry picked a whole lot of very lucky clips.

most of these players he's facing have really terrible movement. the amount of point blank flicks on those scouts is a bit suspicious though.

No way he's hacking. His movements are completely natural and he misses a lot as well. I'm not a great sniper, but his sniping style is almost exactly like mine (though I miss a lot more), relying more on prediction and twitch-guessing than control and reaction. The result of that is that sometimes you guess correctly and hit awesome looking shots, while other times you guess wrong and miss badly. He looks so much better because the idiots he's playing against have awful, predictable movement.

when you kill scouts pointblank with a headshot, it's almost always a flick due to it being close quarters. they're also not terribly uncommon if you play enough.

if you want to claim he hacks, you need to watch him live or download several demos to see his consistency. this video could be months in the making, but if he's landing these kinds of shots all game every game, then it's pretty suspicious, but I doubt it.

its not this way in the demo though, the demo does look quite legit, obviously the demo is nothing like the frag vid (whose demos are) but he does do alright in the demo, soo I dunno

but there is something to everyone who sees the demo (im talking good players) saying it looks fishy, that isn't normally the reaction skilled players have toward frag vids

Maybe the reason he is looking at the wall is because his mouse is dying? Same thing happens to me sometimes too.

haha "top Korean player". he's top of low-mid Korean highlander at most. never seen in div1 or other high level. pug/hl sniper. 엿먹어라

regarding mouse accel, i personally use mouse accel but my shots are never sped up to a point like his are and connect directly at the enemies head, maybe its just me but im just speaking from experience.

edit: it does happen occasionally if flick and it just happens to land on the enemies head, but not everytime...

The first clip was dodgy as fuck, and he chose not to take an easy medic kill at least twice in some of the other clips. But the rest of the vid seemed good to me.

^That's the clip that makes me pretty sure he's legit. That's just some smart shooting, even with the misses. Or maybe he's just been playing with a trigger bot for a long time.

They're some pretty impressive frags overall, actually in the middle of fights/pushes instead of picking off badly positioned players (lookin at you konr).

not sure what first clip you're talking about because from what I can tell, there was never a easy med shot he refused to take. I assume the first scout kill as accidental as he tried to shoot the medic. the second time he peeked around the corner, his only easy shot on the medic happened but he missed (it happens). next time he peeked, he didn't have a clear shot up until right before the scout fell down, where he rightfully changed focus.

Asia is decently sized; the Koreans are actually pretty freakin' good at this game. CS 1.6 was massive (though Brood War obviously took off way more); when I was there I played some TF2 and they're pretty good. This kind of game really appeals to their general choices (cartoony, tactile, fast, etc.). I've been thinking about contacting them but my Korean is SO rusty at the moment...

Apparently this was the top Japanese TF2 team but everyone they are playing against seems so bad I could never really tell if he was cheating or not lol. Some of the movement he does is really crazy though. (also the Sniper spree at the end is kinda cool)

other than the first 2 headshots on the scouts, he seems legit. it's just a player with jedi reflexes and a ridiculous ability to track scout's movement.
