Yeah dizziness were the only really good korean players tbh. No idea who this guy is.
and this week on "snipers who cant aim but dont miss"
is this the new thing now? people play sniper and cant keep their crosshair on the model to save their life but still hit 95% of the shots they take?

to be fair some people can't track for shit (like me) but can still shoot heads consistently (like me) but i see what you're getting at

Spyromanceryour_majestyOK minus frag me :/no you again wills
Guess my opinion doesn't count cause I'm not a professional.
Haha nope, I learned my lesson
But very cool frag vid, if he's using a triggerbot it's different from what I've seen before.
I suppose the Demo would be a better indicator of his actual skill; if those are all his best snipes ever over the last year or more, then ofc they're going to be ridiculous (especially when some of the enemies do stupid stuff). Without context, it's really hard to tell.

What you see in demos and STV is not a 100% accurate representation of the game.
There's server and client side lag compensation that skews the final footage.

After watching the demo it seems like he is just flicking A LOT.
It seems to be like 50% flicking in the last moment, 30% bad tracking and 20% not moving the crosshair and then clicking in the right or wrong (most of the time wrong) moment.
His aim is not really good, his tracking is good sometimes and then again just plain horrible. He seems to be really inconsistent.
Unsteady aim, flicks a lot, switches from tracking to flick aim all the time, most of the time bad tracking. For me this just looks like he could have good aim and is just incredibly inconsistent. He starts flicking as soon as his tracking is a bit off. This combined with situations where he hasn't started flicking although his tracking is to bad to hit anything at that moment makes him miss more than half of his shots.
tl;dr
Weird but legit aim, inconsistent, misses >50%
hits some lucky flickshots (misses most of them)

what im getting at is mostly his absolute lack of mouse control
justin weeble sheep hero bloodsire (haha finally get to use his name in a non-jocular manner) all seem to make some effort or have some ability to keep their crosshair on what they are shooting before they shoot it
i guess im just wary of all these drag and drop snipers with terrible smg/scatter/shotgun aim

regardless of whether hes cheating or not hes an absolute twat as far as target priority and how he goes about playing the game

Yes, he goes from normal tracking over tracking with a bit of jittering to flicking and wobbling around.

He always seems to go for the pocket instead of the medic in the demo. Nobody knows why.

he'll see half a team on grey including the medic (3:51), and then shoot the jumping demo that is of no threat to him
bizarre.

Is the demo from any of the clips? If it's just some random demo, I really doubt someone that uses a trigger bot would hack every single time
FzeroIs the demo from any of the clips? If it's just some random demo, I really doubt someone that uses a trigger bot would hack every single time
Why not?
And btw his aim is the same in the fragvid and in the demo, the demo just shows that he misses loads and that he focuses whoever might jump (solly/demo).

I just want to add that Korean internet is amazing, so his ping is probably anywhere from 1-5 every time he plays. Not sure if it helps the 'sketchiness' any, but there you go.

Simple, in case someone asks for a demo.

Pretty insane video...it's hard to tell from that alone though, but nice to see he was willing to give up a demo.
If any of you caught the process 6v11 charity match...there's nothing more out of the ordinary that this guy did then what powah did in that ....and that is not to be meant as an insult. He hit some crazy shots, and so did this guy.
Also he misses alot of shots, and the ones he does hit don't seem to have the over the top jerk effect of a trigger.

At 4:10 this guy has a shot that is instantaneous with the medic peaking from behind some crates. I'm pretty sure the shot is well beyond any humanly possible reaction time.

Some people call that twitch aiming. Tracking is only one style of aim, and certainly not a prerequisite for good sniping.

He had his crosshair sitting on the other side of that crate long before the Medic walked by it. That's why I pointed it out as smart shooting. Contrary to popular belief, sniping isn't just scope and hope.

manadashtmAsia is decently sized; the Koreans are actually pretty freakin' good at this game. CS 1.6 was massive (though Brood War obviously took off way more); when I was there I played some TF2 and they're pretty good. This kind of game really appeals to their general choices (cartoony, tactile, fast, etc.). I've been thinking about contacting them but my Korean is SO rusty at the moment...BLoodSire Apparently though he is a top korean player (for what that is worth)...we have a Korean scene?
Back in the Col/Pandemic days, this korean player in our scene named Fayth (dunno if any of you remember him) had connections with a bunch of players in the korean scene. We would make random pug teams late at night (I remember playing with jaeger, animeman, ruwin) and played against them on their servers. It was really surprising since they followed our scene really well and knew all of us, they knew everyone who was on AA at the time too.

u guys are too good, back in the day when I was in HK I watched a lot of esea highlight on youtube. Every competitive players know TLR, platinum, yz50 (surprisingly not everyone knows b4nny...)

I get your sentiment, it is an off trend. I would say though that before TF2 I was primarily a flick aimer, tracking was never a skill I learned in the TFC sniper niche community, and most of my shots in the AA vid or any other sniper vid I had are flick mostly. For this reason I was never really any good at scout until I practiced tracking, and then of course I still sucked :|
The "quickiness" of the headshots in the vid (by that I mean to express the way the shots register on the player in a way that feels different then other snipe vids ive seen...and i get linked a lot) I'm starting to believe is likely due to some combination of editing demos that lack player prediction, and Korean net
n0gravWhy do we even care anyway? When people make threads like this about people in tf2lobby we get mad at them but when an ex invite player makes this thread about a player on the other side of the world we are suddenly interested in finding an answer.
Well I made the thread to get a general consensus after messaging a few people and getting iffy responses. Most people seemed to think it was sketchy, I did to, but I felt I might have lead them to that idea just by pointing out the vid to them. I did the same with this thread, it seems, but I did not think it would get to 3 pages. Just like one or two guys saying "legit" or "hacks" with an inordinate amount of +frags to the popular opinion.
But you guys should watch the demo I posted on the first page toward the bottom, I watched it with the glow-outline we use for casts, def did not seem like any sort of wallhack and the aiming seemed legit too. I don't want to theorize beyond that over what is meant to be a highlight reel.

From what several credible Korean sources have told me when I asked if he was hacking:
"no way, he's only good at sniper. others terrible sux."
"pine, just HL sniper"
"only crazy at sniper, other class - suuck"
"also kr sv hitbox status kinda weird"
Also DL tried to tell me his dick size

One thing I will say that sometimes you just make lucky sniper shots on scouts after playing a long time. Hell, I got two back to back HS on the scouts during the 6v9 (7v11) on badlands in the same matter. On the other hand, when I get those shots it's usually followed by "LOL" in chat
