Gazwonderoflim pretty conflicted. seeing b4nny lose is always a welcome sight, but seeing this shit in chat almost makes me wish he hadn't. shits just immature & pathetic as hell. how can u brag when ur playing home, and be so boring while u do it?
Last cup b4nny shittalked us and this cup he did, so I don't quite understand what the problem is. There is an important distinction to make here: we (including nas) know that when somebody else on that NA team did it, it was probably the standard "talk down the opponent in comms" kind of thing. However, with b4nny you know he means it.
People will disagree with this because of pride, but I feel like recently people started thinking Nas' shittalk comes out of nowhere, which is not exactly true. I know he has never been a saint, but believing that he fires blindly into the crowd is wrong.
feel like reassuring his belief that eu teams dont care about competition and just shittalk all day just turns him (and by default the rest of froyo) off from attending any international tournaments or send a worthy na team over to an iseries again, which in any case will have to include him, plus him saying in an off the cuff remark that nas is a "low iq player" ahead of a grand final against nas is about as harmless as it gets, and a froyo vs eu lan showdown is what we're all after im guessing
i get that theres always gonna be a rivarly between the regions but the americans actually made this tournament insanely more interesting to watch and entertaining, and sending 20 messages in the middle of a grand final as a response to 1 comment is so overblown lol

Wrong. Have we not proven we care about competition, seeing as we were the first to sign up to another regions tournament, understanding that we will have to play at like 2 in the morning? You really think the NA players will never attend another EU LAN again, solely because of some trashtalk? Maybe you weren't around back then, but the last time there was an international LAN and the burgers lost, b4nny was spearheading the shittalk. He dodged and bm'd the team that had the balls to represent HIS region against se7en or whoever it was.

Look man, it's easy: If you dish out, you better be able to take it as well. This mindset is something a lot of people in the community are too immature to adopt. In fact, I think people can learn from Nas in this regard. Say what you will about him but if he has to accept defeat he will take the L like a man instead of coping in twitch chats or on twitter.
Regarding LANs, you can abandon the delusion of believing that b4nny will attend an EU event again in the foreseeable future. In the end, nobody knows for sure why he dodges LANs but he himself.

People being aggravated and SHOCKED for being shittalked back is a story as old as ETF2L season 1 itself. I think the faint vs nR grandfinals shit talk was top tier and no cross-regional beef will top that.

You have to pay for the flight there (at this point in time, it's probably at least $1000 from the closest places in NA, hundreds more as you go west), the hotel, the transportation, the food, and lastly, the drinks, who almost everyone will partake in, as you don't just go halfway across the world to not socialize and have fun. If you have all the money settled, and you actually want to attend, you have to take off of work that Monday and likely Thursday/Friday, maybe even Wednesday if you decide you don't want to spend only 3 days at a tournament where you'll be playing for almost 2 entire days. In reality, for those who work regular schedules, you're losing even more money than simply the amount of the flights, travel, and LAN.
I really enjoyed going the first couple of times (the second time only because I met everyone I hadn't met the first time), but any amount more and it becomes kind of tiring. You dread the travel, you dread playing day 1 from like 9 am to midnight the next day on jetlag and minimal sleep, you dread the loss of money. It's not like it's some kind of fucking conspiracy that no one wants to go, as if you're all better people who would die for a chance to go to LAN and you're disappointed that everyone on froyo is missing this deal of a lifetime. Yeah, no shit, it would be your first time there, you're thinking entirely hypothetically, and you have no idea what the process actually entails. Once you've experienced everything, it can become not only overwhelming, but you can easily think of more reasons to not attend than to attend. And as banny says, if one person doesn't want to go, it becomes a domino effect. One person not wanting to go makes the next person, who thinks his presence invaluable, uninterested in attending. If you're going to spend money out of pocket to miss days of work and attend a LAN in Europe, you're going to want to do it correctly, with a real roster.
I don't agree with the idea that b4nny is a LAN dodger though - Given clockwork's insight on attending European TF2 LANs in his time it's pretty understandable as to why b4nny wouldn't want to travel to Europe again to play at insomnia, for instance.

What's the point of going to LAN in another continent for a second place in the best scenario.

Genuinely don't see anything wrong with either him shittalking or the euros. Overly shittalking someone who just sticks to themself is pretty cringe but when both parties are happy to dish why does this need to be an issue at all

Idk why you say this when your team has the worst time taking any sort of shittalk. Nasboii made a twitch alt to message people who BM him in twitch chat and you yourself are pretty poor about it (as is josh and nubbi somewhat too)
Nas is only person who I literally don't shittalk anymore because of how badly he takes it, and I love shittalk. I'm able to take it more than any other player and I DO also dish out a lot. When he added me to apologise I said he didn't have to, there is nothing to apologise for (because there wasn't, it is just shittalk not anything truly offensive).
Just kinda unreal how hypocritical this is considering b4nny can take the hate but you yourself can't.

as someone from na who's gone to lots of eu lans i can definitely agree with clock about the travel fees and stuff being expensive, but im pretty sure banny mostly says that stuff cause he wants to get another big NA lan like rewind and have the top eu team(s) come instead of him flying to europe for the 8th time (i46, i49, i52, i55, i58, i61, i63, swelan)
i think if blaze and everyone on his team was keen to go for the next iseries he would probably go though, especially after covid i think a lot of ppl really want a big lan tourney (but maybe there's an na one in the works that theyd prefer)
also i agree with doughy in the sense that banny gets a TON of hate from lots of people and can handle it fine, but i think he does often assume that large groups of people (like tftv, invite circlejerks, or all of eu lol) legitimately hate him and sort of views them as enemies, when the reality is people just want upsets and to see him not always win

Why are you even here? What is your motivation behind these posts?
Seeing as you stated "you enjoy a b4nny loss" before there is only two options: Despite being completely uninvolved you are upset about someone being called bad at a videogame in which case your own quote applies to yourself more than to the person you are referring to, or you are a b4nny sub trying to fly under the radar. Which one is it?
wonderoflhow can any1 think "you guys are trash no bap" and "go back to na" sounds good?
What are you even on about? You think trashtalk is some poetry contest like who crafts the most acoustically pleasing combination of words or something? Or is it too mild for you? Want us to go around dropping the "kys" like our competitors from last season? If it is too weak for your tastes, what are you upset about then? What exactly is the issue?

What are you even on about? You think trashtalk is some poetry contest like who crafts the most acoustically pleasing combination of words or something? Or is it too mild for you? Want us to go around dropping the "kys" like our competitors from last season? If it is too weak for your tastes, what are you upset about then? What exactly is the issue?
GazWhat exactly is the issue?
There isn't really an issue and I think we can all move on without getting hurt. If certain members of nerdRage want to continue being keyboard warriors then so be it, I advise their opponents to just mute them if they become an annoyance. It's not like any of your taunts have any backbone behind them anyway. After the S38 Grand Finals for example, as soon as production invites your team to a post-game interview on stream and politely asks you to be respectful, the players on your team that were either personally attacking the enemy team as a whole or targeting individual players including yourself instantly submitted to their plea and refrained from doing so again during said interview - A point in time where your words would have carried the most weight behind them.

its petty, like the ppl shitting on slem as he plays and the production team acting like children along with the rest of ur team. if all it takes for ur boy to chimp out is b4nny calling him low iq, id love to see what else gets the sperg riled up. nas is proof that retard strength is a lie, and instead of trying to cover for him through a false equivalence put more energy in fixing those weak jabs. how can any1 think "you guys are trash no bap" and "go back to na" sounds good? and i thought bl4nk was bad lmfao.
