Chia seeds - put them in yogurt or in your protein shake after the gym. Lots of nutrients and fiber.
Drop low quality seed oils and use grass fed butter or avocado and olive oil instead.
Quality, grass fed kefir is delicious and healthy.
You can get several pounds of chicken thighs for just over $20 at costco and they come in individually vacuum sealed portions that you can store in the freezer until you're ready to use them. Season em with whatever rub you want and throw them in the air fryer.
I could go on and on but these are my latest kicks.

I don't know if it's sustainable but I've had days where I've just snacked on big bags of granola / nuts / trail mix all day and I've always felt great.

Chicken Breast, Rice, Broccoli (Potato), always a banger. Speaking of healthy things that works for your play, lifting dumbbells' instead of a full bar has given me much more control and improved my tracking significantly.
Dunno if it's a thing in the US and it can be a bit expensive, but red lentil pasta actually tastes pretty nice and has insane amounts of protein.
Texture is tricky though, they tend to either be overcooked or too al dente. Hard to get them just right.

Focus on Whole Foods as much as possible aka not processed
Avoid snacking between meals if your goal is weight loss, if weight gain then pick smart snacks not rubbish.
Limit consumption of sugar, sweets, junk food, and alcohol
Eat more Nuts, Jerky, Fruit as your snacks
Oily fish (although now our food is farmed to shit so expect far less Omega 3 than advertised, also mercury lol)
Buy a rice cooker and make your own although the microwave bags are fine in a pinch
Eat less artificial dyed stuff
cook using butter, ghee, tallow, lard, olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil instead of vegetable oil
Also find a local meat + egg dealer if possible and buy from them rather than Walmart
