i think they will surprise the europeans with their prodigious alcohol consumption skills
I predict bp vs Kangaroo Land in the finals, tho Epsilon might go into the finals if they actually practice

I heard really great things about the aussies, I heard they are good at tf2... Not sure how that will help against a fully buffed Epsilon or HRG tho... Still, I predict this will be the best tf2 lan of all time, doesn't matter who wins!
Yeah it's gonna be great just having everyone there. i46 was just the most amazing atmosphere, Epsilon vs LG was insane and the finals were awesome too, and this time we'll have the aussies as well. And a functioning epsilon hopefully haha.
I'm gonna predict Epsilon v HRG finals with iM close third. Can't imagine broder or cc getting top 3 but I guess that depends on how good iM actually are, and I'm putting epsilon at the top because EU :D

These games were pretty scrappy from us, to be honest. But I suppose it is the most recent game that we have played that has been casted, so w/e.
Good find, though.
nemowhos scouting with sheep btw

id really like to see yuri and rep (without cheats)
australians are crazy good...i don't see any reason to doubt them.
anyways if they do show up to i49 i'm expecting the top three teams to be Epsilon/HRG/Immunity in any order (alphabetical here)

It'll be tough for HRG with cyzer holding them back though ;)

I had this really cool image I wanted to post now but I can't find it, imagine a guy that points with his two index fingers and saying like "ahhhh" or "this guy" or something.

I really don't think they will be able to compete with top invite or prem teams. maybe I haven't seen enough but what I have seen has been unimpressive. I will always be a sheep fan but I am not the least bit worried about any sniper in the game. also, powah #1 sniper for me
I will be happy to be proven wrong but I find aus vs na final very unlikely!

snowblindmy point still stands. the american scene still has less teams overall but is able to play/compete at a higher level - at least at the time of i46
I think a better argument would be to look at Sweden/Finland. 15 million people between them (compared to the 700 million or so of Europe), and well...

the real question is, how will the australians handle being the right way up?

From what I've seen, the top aus players are all quite individually skilled. The problem comes from the teams they are playing against. From some of the aus povs I have seen, it looks like pickup games or US teams from 3+ years ago. vs teams like that, it's super easy for a player with good dm to run in and kill half the team (ex. carnage 3 years ago). That alone doesn't work now.
I would expect them to beat most of the teams fairly handily, but lose to the top US/EU teams due to coordination and team play they aren't used to playing against.
