buy something you like
make a list, go test drive each one, then toss a bag of cash on the counter. you can prolly get a really good deal paying cash.

I can confirm that you do indeed get a very good deal paying in cash - although the best possible option is to go to a dealer's auction, but you have to be licensed in most states (so you'd have to befriend a dealer and go with them).

I've been looking at the 2013 BRZ and the WRX. But then I saw the pictures of the 2014 WRX, and now I'm probably gonna wait for that.

Here's a list of things I would rather say in my lifetime:
"Buying a punch in the groin"
"Buying a frilly pair of panties that I plan to wear in public with nothing else on"
"Buying a sex change"

Since you're buying, might as well look into it.

You can google other things about the prius being one of the worst environmentally friendly cars around. I'd save 15k and pick up a fiat 500, if you're willing go with the 22k Abarth, or a VW Golf.
