Discussion: Do we need to rethink gpit? Do we need to move it to a different week in the rotation, or put another map into the rotation? I personally liked watching it later in the season when the matches were closer.
To be clear -- I'm not sure if this is a matchmaking/booking issue (week 4 matches) or a map selection issue.

Gpits fun until red runs heavy, pyro, and engy. Gpit is fun as hell with stock classes though.
I think we need koth_ashville or another good koth map. There would be too many cp maps with another one added in in place of gpit.

remove it, its pretty bad to play.
If we wanna replace it with another spectator friendly map I'd say go with another koth map, since I feel like those are the next best maps to watch and not entirely awful to play.
I personally just don't enjoy the a/d style just because it feels like 1 mistake can cost you the entire map/round. It seems a coin-flip a lot of the time, which isn't good for competition.

Old map, old format. Better off having another koth/cp map, as there's opportunities for many more situations/positions than on A/D.

whatever skills are developed in teams when playing 5cp maps and even viaduct are not the same that are needed to win this map, therefore this map gives room to such called "upsets".

2-0 gpit games can still be fun and exciting, dont let the final score influence the discussion too much.

This. CP is fun to watch, but get's boring since there are 6 CP maps, and 1 a/d and 1 koth. A/d is the only bo3 game mode that we see, and if teams play smart it can be entertaining. Sadly most teams go in with either no scrims, or with a bad mindset about the map (I hate steel in HL, but I have to suck it up and play it). If edifice is put into play, then we'll either see "This map sucks" or "Good map". Since most people tend to dislike a/d, we'll see "This map/game mode sucks". The only way to see people enjoy this game mode and map is to see it with a different outlook. Whatever that outlook is, it is up for you and your team to decide.
Anyways, ESEA has the players choose what maps stay in or go out. So unforgettably, and unfortunately, the players who pay early get to choose if they want the map in or out, which can cause.

Yes please. I don't know why this map wasn't given another chance and was passed over in the past in favor of shit like standin. It's not terrible by any means.
