Tested, a perfect rocket surf as scout takes you as far as a double sticky jump. You can now surf off of airshots now instead of getting juggled by them as well, and you can easily surf off shotgun/scatters.

Haven't tested it, but if short stop scout becomes the 'new meta', then pocket FaN scout would be hilarious (assuming the FaN's push back is increased by 80% on shortstop targets).
Scout comes near -> FaN shot -> Scout enter orbit -> Medic safe.

If you're going fast enough to eat that much shit from fall damage, the window to double jump is going to be much shorter once you realize where you're headed.

Played the last few scrims with it, it's super fun to use but it's still the same gun it was before. Ubering a scout with the shortstop is a huge downgrade, and fighting other scouts is harder in general. Theorycrafting that flying across the map all the time as scout in order to provide a distraction is on par with thief calling the FaN viable.
