CORRECT, 400 dollars, pick your next chat
I hate everybody right now.
I remember sitting in classrooms with these jackoffs when the whole thing was just beginning: "I was LITERALLY walking down the street when..."
"Were you? Literally walking down the street? Not just hypothetically or metaphorically?"
They just gave you this fuckin' look like who is this asshole.
We need to find the guy responsible for the further degradation of the English language and leave an all too literal poop sack on his doorstep.

I'm pretty sure english actually says that something like "can't you" turns into "can you not".

Holy shit guys.
You realize that this "degradation" of the English language has gone on for many many years, right? That there's a reason why English in 2012 is very different from English in 1700 even though they're both the same language? That there always is and will be a subset of people upset with new colloquialisms or shifted meanings on words?
I don't understand why it's considered "butchering" the English language. If you look up the etymology of many common words, I can guarantee you'll find a few whose meaning has shifted entirely. This isn't an egregious offense. (That's a joke, in case you think it's condescending)
