So recently my tf2 sound has been messed up. Sound would shutter, and crackle. I also recently got a brand new headset if that's affecting it.

EDIT: It worked but now I hear static in the background.
EDIT2: Stopped working. If any one could find a fix I would love it. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled to no help. I have also tryed -autoconfig.

mixahead's default it .1 set it back to it.
check your autoexec for snd_mixahead and remove it or be sure to set it everytime.

Its only in tf2. The headset is plantronics 400 dsp. The problem still happens even with my old headset.
