I've been trying to overclock my WMO for a bit, but every time I try, when I restart my PC the USB port doesn't work and I have to reinstall my usb port.
Is there anyone who can help me to overclock my WMO's polling rate to 500? :)

this guide works every time

make sure you don't plug the mouse into a USB 3.0 slot, it has to be 2.0

For certain mice it raises their maximum speed.

500 polling rate gives you a 2ms response time rather than a 8ms response time which is with the stock 100 polling rate. also i believe the perfect control speed for a wmo is only like 2 meter per second at stock but 2.5 meters per second at around 500-1000 polling rate.

Hey bumping this because I got a WMO 1.1 and followed the instructions exactly in the video, but the polling rate still stays at 125 hz. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? When I run test mode it says "Windows 7 Build 7601" if that helps.

I realized that I reformatted my computer a few months ago and forgot that the XCHI Pre-Boot Mode was set to Enabled, so I disabled that to make my USB ports run 2.0 and it's working now. Thanks for the help, appreciate it.
