weed is legal in colorado, foo!
on a serious note, why are you so afraid of "restarting"?
people go through harder shit than that. take your time, dont waste time, you don't need to rush to make new friends. try new shit, meet new people, enjoy life. imagine yourself being afraid of the same shit 5 years later. nope. fuck that. your experiences will help you develop as a person. ideally, your role model should be your future self. play some tf2 to take short breaks from reality. when i was younger, i would play tf2 and reflect on philosophy and sociology, kinda like how people smoke weed and end up thinking about life. just make sure you don't use tf2 to escape. life is a lot cooler than that.

what exactly do you want people to say? it's not like your parents are gonna see our posts on a tf2 forum and decide not to move. Honestly, moving is only as bad as you make it, I moved to an international school in a whole new continent a few years ago, and the kids that were all bitter about moving and missing their home countries generally had a shittier time then the kids that just took it as it came and made the best of the situation. Almost everyone I knew there had moved multiple times in their lives, really the situation doesn't matter as much as the way you approach it personally.
TLDR: Be happy and you will be happier. Be sad and no one will want to be friends with you.

I think he's just looking for a place to vent, there's enough decent advice here that it might help him out. Just go with what's happening man, you can't change it. This could turn out to be the best thing that ever happens to you, and since you can't really stop it, just enjoy the ride.

Moved house when I was 13 from all my friends I'd grown up with at that point. It's pretty much part of life, moving on and growing up. See it as a new venture and besides you can always keep in contact.
