If I didn't wear glasses, I couldn't read 12 pt font more than a foot from my eyes.
I cant see worth shit without my glasses I have astigmatism in my right eye. I have been wearing glasses since 5th grade. I tried contacts from 8th grade to the end of freshman year but I preferred glasses so I switched back this year.
i warn anyone that asks to try my glasses that my prescription is very high. the ones that insist always say it hurts a lot
looking back it was probably childhood club penguin addiction that did it.
worth.

Everything's blurry past an elbow's length away from my eyes.
Glasses. I can't handle contacts @_@

i wear glasses and can barely read my screen without them
(swedish system for vision is like 0.1 = basically blind - 1.0 = excellent afaik, don't really know how this corresponds to american)
Left eye is 0.3-0.5, right eye is 0.7-0.9 depending on weariness / random biological reasons
Got reading glasses due to hyperopia but most of the time they just give me a headache due to the right eye not really needing them and the left eye being silly.
Got an injury on either the left eye's cornea, optic nerve or in my brain, happened when I was pretty young (manifested and diagnosed after a bad headinjury) so can't really remember exactly what was fucked up. This essentially removes some of my control over the focus of the left eye and gives me a couple of blind spots around what I actually focus on. In turn this occasionally gives me trouble with depth perception.
Used to give me a migraine + spontanic blindness 2-3 times a month when I was growing up, both of those are down to only a couple of times / year now though.
Can barely read this on arms length on left eye, no problems on right :>
Fun fact: Despite all this it's still legal for me to drive...which I never will cause I really, really can't trust myself to measure distances to other objects :D

there seems to be a strong correlation between cs players and wearing glasses that I can't ignore.
personally my vision is fine even though I am really hard on my eyes.
they get bloodshot fairly often (100 percent my fault).
once I had a drivers test where I failed the vision part and I thought I was going blind (even most people with glasses can pass it without)
turns out their projector was malfunctioning gg

nearsighted, everything is blurry about a foot and a half in front of me, and cant afford a new prescription even though my eyesight gets worse by about .5 every year (2 years since last prescription)
My axis of both eyes are tilted from birth. Needed spects since 2. Now the difference is 40 degrees :(. Cant see shit, if i open both my eyes. Can see clearly with only 1 eye
I'm nearsighted. Everything is blurry past ~12 in in front of me. I have a very, very strong prescription and all but three people have teared up, and complained about instantaneous pain if they try my glasses on.
GetawhaleI am planning to get LASIK within about 3 months
keep us updated on how the lasik goes
I have terribad vision and am considering it

My dad got lasik about 10 years ago and his eyesight is still around 20/20 (much better than mine).

This. It really is quite unfair how good my vision is with how long i've been using computers without proper lighting

I had lasik done almost 2 years ago and i still have 20/15 vision, the only lingering side effect is some extra light sensitivity when driving that is very easily fixed by sunglasses.

I've been nearsighted for a long time. Now I'm using contacts (-5.5 on left, -5.25 on right). At least I don't need to go to army :D
I have no idea what my numbers are in the American index / scale / whatever, but imagine the worst possible eyesight you can, now double that. That's my vision.
i dont know the exact number but i honestly have such bad eyesight that i cannot see my own paper at my school desk if im straight up in my seat
My eyesight is 20/20, weird considering that I spend 6-12 hours daily staring at screens (school+vidya). Also I don't get bloodshot eyes when I'm high
Things start to get blurry ~6 inches away from my face.
god im so fucking lonely. Maybe talking to internet people about my eyesight will be a small relief from the isolated hell that's been my life since elementary school..

Well if we're honest the reason that a lot of us post on tf.tv and other forums is because we we need a way to distract ourselves from our lives. Now that's not everyone, but some of us do. We all want to feel better about ourselves. That's why alfa kept posting to defend himself when 30+ people -fragged him (rightfully so, sorry alfa. Just using you as an example). And that's why people chase +frags and shit. Cuz it makes you feel good

Just short sighted enough to not be able to pass vision test for driving; wear glasses for most stuff except computer use or when doing martial arts.
god im so fucking lonely. maybe mocking what people on the internet choose to talk about will be the small relief from the isolated hell thats been my life since elementary school and people will think im cool
as for me, I have perfect vision and didn't even realize that shit like 20/300 was actually really a thing. you can use wolfram alpha to simulate different snellen chart visibilities for which is kinda neat
