bo1 with a random map assigned? Retarded. Is there no chance to get a map elimination done so it's even vaguely legit?
^ If you really think about it, it's all okay, because it was ESEA's fault the match hadn't already been played. As punishment for their own negligence, we as players only have to worry about playing 1 map!
esea made it a bo1 so mangachu can win invite and kill tf2
FlickerDunno if it's been said but in froyo's latest scrims (at least the last ones I could find on logs.tf), b4nny and ash switched roles, so we might see b4nny on pocket just as Sideshow predicted a while back on a stream.
[edit] well no he didnt really predict it he just heard some rumours but whatever
I guess you were right.

can someone please inform me again of why americans are willing to pay a substantial amount of money for an underused pug service that offers nothing over the myriad of other pug services in tf2 + an infamously intrusive "anticheat" client that is so neglected that it interrupts one of the most important matches of the season? Keep in mind that this anticheat has questionable effectiveness in the first place.
The saving grace of esea was LAN finals, right? If that's no longer a thing then it seems like you're paying to have a worse experience than you would have with a free community league

I'm not sure why b4nny and ash switched...b4nny isn't doing so well as a solly.
Dashner's stream is the best stream:

On the upside though my boy ash insnt doing so bad on scout, props to him

4G had some pretty solid ubers, including the wrap play that won them the match.

It's been hashed up time and time again, but we seriously need a new league to seriously compete in. This nonsense of no-lan-incentive on top of copious amounts of premium fees on top of league fees on top of client issues on top of overall sketchiness shouldn't be the staple of the high-level competitive scene.
Why does a Lower Bracket Final become a Best of 1 map, on a randomizer? Is this what $5 Club signed up for?

ESEA has the infrastructure as a league to facilitate growth and it gives tf2 a little more visibility.
If 4G's final i55 roster is b4nny pocket then are they looking at other scouts? Not a knock on ash but he has zero experience scouting in matches, correct?
4G.cyzer? return of the eMg cyzer & clckwrk??
if 4g.cyzer happens, that would be the third player that froyo picked up from 20b.

I wouldn't assume this is their final roster though. Do we even know if Lansky won't be able to play again next season.

What visibility has ESEA given TF2 to non-ESEA players, what growth? We had to rally people to talk to UGC players to sign up, it's us who are promoting the comp scene and the growth, ESEA has just been the most available tool with Prize Pool incentives, but every other reason ESEA has to offer is really not that incentivizing.

I think you misread my post. I said "ESEA has the infrastructure as a league to facilitate growth" which means that should tf2 grow with the coming MM update, ESEA as an established league could facilitate tf2s growth.

In-game matchmaking was on the horizon in Valve's talk, which means we have time to find and become part of another league. As I understand it, CEVO is out of the question, but didn't Razer Arena do something recently?

I thought the spread was for a BO3, did they keep it the same when it was BO1?

They've done spread in the past on various single-map games, so I don't see why they would overturn it based on that.
