Well,That doesn't appear to me, it only shows the background but not the text.

- Look for "fogcrosshair"
- Change the "tall" values

I have had that happening to me for months too.. i think its an actual tf2 bug cause i have used multiple huds including my own and it still does it.

I have had that happening to me for months too.. i think its an actual tf2 bug cause i have used multiple huds including my own and it still does it.
that could be controlled by cl_hud_killstreak_display_alpha, cl_hud_killstreak_display_fontsize, or cl_hud_killstreak_display_time

So I recently changed the font on rayshud and everything works fine except for one thing.
If I play medic my uber change percent sign is just a box. It is only on the first person hud (as is next to the charge meter) but if say another medic heals me the percent sign for their medigun is fine.

Edit: found out the problem. The font I use does not have a % sign however the HUD I got the font from in the 1st place (FUNKe HUD) does not have this problem.

In m0refont, the overhealed HP has two shadows alongside the original health, one has the black color at all times and there's the blue blinking shadow between those two, how do I make a similar one for low HP so when my health is low is has a red shadow alongside it?

Try checking console for any sort of resource errors, it might be that you accidentally deleted a curly brace or quotation mark. That can mess things up quite a bit. If you aren't sure what the error message is, do a hud_reloadscheme and it will be the latest error message in console.

I have no idea where to go or look to add the health bars above allies thing that appear on defaultHUD when dead and during the 10 second post-respawn period. Same goes for the glow that shows up. Any help would be very appreciated.
Specifically what I want to do now that I've figured out the outline and stuff is what I drew in this image.

The problem is, the first picture has tf_hud_target_id_disable_floating_health 0, instead of 1. I found it needs to be set to 0 for the glowing allied outlines on respawn thing to work. Pretty frustrating. This is wrong, actually.
Would still like help adding those health bars that exist above people in defaultHUD that are there in the "glow time" though.

This happened with the latest update. Some updated huds like flamehud etc have this fixed but I cant seem to find what they changed to get rid of this problem.

its not 'fixed' on my hud, its just very hard to notice because I always had a semitransparent bg there. I think its there on mine as well.

No I believe it's a boolean value as to whether you see one or the other.

New update has messed up loadout menu, the description when you hover over has shifted to the right so you can't see the whole description.

The new contract drawer animations aren't working for me. I can view the post card-esque front of the contract, but when I click it it doesn't show the actual contract. I'm using a hudanimations_manifest.txt file that has my animations (with contract animations removed) and a copy of the latest update's animations file.

resource/ui/HudItemEffectMeter_PowerupBottle.res is the file you're looking for
Rawrsor, I'd recommend moving your custom animations with events to a seperate file, and leave the last line in the _manifest default to:"file" "scripts/hudanimations_tf.txt" so it is using the default file from the VPK. If there are events (for health/ammo colors) defined in the animation file you load in the manifest before the _tf file is loaded they will be used instead.
There is no need to mess with the actual default hudanimations_tf file if the manifest is set up correctly.
