Because the lack of chemistry is not necessarily Raptor's fault but he is the one who suffered by being cut.

As someone who has gamed with Sheepy and Zoob a lot, I can tell you that playing with Zoob isn't easy, he is prone to whine a lot at mistakes of others. It's easy to get into a defensive mindset playing with Zoob, because players are making mistakes and he tends to get frustrated at the mistakes of others, that can stop players from getting better. Kissakala was actually a really promising player, in one of his first Premiership games he played Epsilon and we almost beat them, but over the next 2 seasons he was kind of worn down by whining and raging at mistakes (not just by Zoob, but also by me). It takes a certain type of personality to play Medic for Zoob, I think an actually established player with a lot of confidence in himself would work better.

Other thing Planet Express may be missing is characters, really vocal players with leadership skills. This is really important to teams in my eyes as these sorts of players can motivate a team to win video games. When I look at Planet Express team, they lack strong leaders. Zoob is an excellent caller but he isn't really the sort of person who will motivate teammates when you fall behind. I think someone like Turbomonkey could also be a good fit, whilst he isn't experienced he is the sort of character who makes the game fun and can motivate his team. The pcw I saw yesterday between Nerdrage and PE, I saw them get 5-0'd and all I saw was 6 individuals, nobody taking responsibility for flanks, slow to push, all over the place when pushing. Felt like they were forgetting simple things, you could tell the atmosphere was not pleasant. So much indecision in their team, they just seem to be lacking some basic teamwork. I hope their new Medic can go some way to fixing this, had high hopes for this team at the start of the season.

yea but if you are not willing to talk about it in private to sort out the probs (k, you cannot change a person's personality) it's pretty much the only thing you can do.

I'm really sad for Raptor, he's actcually the keenest player I've ever seen play the game at this day, and he's also a really cool guy. The worst part is that he wasn't even that bad at medic, he was actually improving imo, we could easily compare his season start and right now.

I think he just got cut because PE couldn't reach their ambitions and they felt like one thing had to change, and it ended up being Raptor.

How do so many people after reading what Planet Express said still make the assumption that it's because they lost or that they're implying he was their "only problem"? Not only did they say the exact opposite of that but if there are a bunch of problems that need fixing and personalities and things like that clash causing the atmosphere to be really bad, you can't exactly work on those other problems so easily now can you?

as a big fan of Planet Express I'm very sad, but maybe with new medic they can now show their real potential. Everyone knows that the only team who can really beat PE is Reason. Now they were just unlucky because their med lost all of their games.

raptor really is a keen player (from what've seen from pickups), and i think, he's always open for improvement. in my opinion, PE should keep to play with him. there's a small chance they'll reach playoffs anyways, so they have a lot of time to work together until next season.
