no they dont. viewmodel fov isnt something that has to be standardized, and if it had to be it would be somewhere around 90 probably, that would provide better visibility and looks while not having too much model fixing to do (arms would look broken and the spy's third hand would cause issues - soldier second hand as well)

I don't really get it. They need to lock graphics settings to "ensure a level playing field?" Isn't locking those settings doing the exact opposite of that by fucking over people with slower machines? I can only imagine that having custom cfgs somehow lets you wallhack or something; otherwise it just seems totally senseless.
If they don't do some serious optimization they should at least have the basic courtesy of adding the pro maps. I've got a couple friends who refused to play the beta with me since Viaduct smashed them; sub 30fps.
