Good job with the video, did not even know this was a thing that the vacc was supposed to do. That buff seems a little to much, so im kind of glad that it is "bugged" pushing last against heavy, sentry, vacc and sniper is hard enough as it is.

Also to make sure can you test it with other resistant then bullet? (Melee damage = bullet resistant as far as I know) And the scout was building with a melee weapon on bullet resistant. (Just to be sure)

Neither melee attacks nor self damage can be resisted.

I don't know if I want them to fix this at all. Vaccinator doesn't require a buff.

Vacc is actually a really interesting weapon because its one of the few medic weapons that actually has a pretty high skill ceiling and it has potential for cool plays if done right but it's fucking a nightmare to balance because there's so much complex stuff going on and its way to much of a risk to run in 90% of situations.

i hate that when i get the drop on a combo the medic pops one of his billion charges per minute and just makes me deal 5 damage, i cant even say i forced simply because they have another charge ready....

As far as I know, the bonus charge never applied. I had posted on the wiki page's talk page a week after the update.

I wonder if the change was considered but ultimately not released, and by mistake it made it to the patch notes. It was not in the item's in-game description, and I do not recall the bonus ever appearing in items_game.txt either, but it could be hidden in addition to being broken.

I feel every change Valve makes to TF2 comes along with 100 other bugs.

woah. vaccinator is already really good, especially in comp match making. not so much in comp 6's or hl. that buff actually being added would make it so good for anyone knowing what they are doing with it

all they need to do to fix the vaccinator is revert the charging to how it was before so you can build while keeping your team kinda buffed

vacc doesnt need a buff but its valve, im sure they'll waste their time fixing the vacc rather than paying attention to the pyro update.
