Well christmas/new year is around the corner and I thought it might be a good idea to make a wishlist valve might actually look at and get around too.

Try to add 2 or 3 things you think valve should add/change/fix to TF2 (if it's a bug try to link what it is and how to reproduce and/or fix it)

My wishlist
1. Remove random projectile spin from all of Demoman's primaries. (LnL is the only one that doesn't have it, though tbh it doesn't matter on the iron bomber or loose cannon since those are both spheres)
2. I'd also like to see the animation and some of the hitreg changes done in csgo applied to TF2. (where applicable) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZi1-JrRdX0

my wish is for valve to actually read any one of these threads instead of doing things all on their own with little communication

as a more specific want: please use your beta mode to test mechanics. stop suddenly giving huge changes to take into account with zero warning (and at many points, literally right before major matches), that is active hostility for a competitive scene

allow all solly/demo projectile weapons (cowmangler, loch-n-load etc...) to fire from the centre of the screen like the original. they could reuse the menu the tide turner has where you pick the 'style' or something like that to select where u fire from

Big one for me would be for valve to reach out to the newbie mix people or marxist or the likes and get a 6v6 tutorial into the game. If they want to push MM they HAVE to have a starting point for players and we have been doing it for years, please ask for help...

$20k or something online tourney

potentially one for EU, one for NA

while it's not the premium lan you'd expect off dota/cs an online tourney relieves them of all the major costs/headaches of lans. $20k is simultaneously nothing compared to what valve makes and i'd wager could probably come from tf2's earnings itself without requiring other investments while also being the biggest prize pool in the game's history.

official endorsement/investment of community 6s by valve would make many more players interested in high level comp

I wish Pyro's airblast would no longer lock players' movement. As it currently works, if a scout running is away from a pyro and the pyro airblasts him from behind, the scout will stop moving forward. This makes no sense, and being airblasted by such a mechanic is incredibly un-fun to play against.

Instead, have pyro's airblast add momentum to whatever movement the enemy player is already making- just like the force a' nature.

This means that a pyro airblasting would no longer make his targets essentially immobile- instead, whether or not the pyro hits his enemy with a flare, or a shotgun blast, is down to how skillful the movement of the enemy player is, and how skillful the aim of the pyro is.

This would make "puff and sting" combos more challenging to consistently hit. In exchange, pyro should receive some buffs- one of which could be every single melee increasing pyro's speed while deployed, instead of just the powerjack.

People already said lots of great stuff I agree with like horrible default settings and when, seemingly randomly, laid stickies refuse to det mid-combat, but I want to say-- Improve the crosshairs. They are super low res and can't be outlined. I just want a bright crosshair with a dark outline that isn't all blurry. Seems rather simple, or am I wrong?

Also make the default damage numbers not to be be a shitty and impossible to read font, size and color. I played tf2 for like 1,300 hours not knowing any better.

I know it's not as high as soldier, sniper, demo, scout, or spy. But if you play against really good pyros you can tell they have put in the work

A nice new HUD revamp would be great (most specifically damage numbers and making it fit more with the current TF2 artstyle and not the 2007 rounded boxes style)

I'd like to see the bar-at-top-of-competitive-and-casual-that-shows-whos-up-and-whos-down be turned into a cvar for third party pug systems like FACEIT, considering that a similar HUD element is also used in CS:GO's official comp matchmaking and third-party competitive systems like FACEIT (again).

And you know, the obvious stuff that everybody else has listed that Valve should be fixing.

Fix a lot of the railings on maps so you can shoot rockets/stickies through them, instead of having to thread the needle through the bars.

Rework maps that we currently play pro versions of because if TF2 grows Valve won't use the pro versions of maps.

UNLOCK GRAPHICS SETTING IN MM FFS THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS.

Allow us to select maps in MM and set a ping limit.

Class limits of 2 with 1 on Med, Demo, and Heavy in MM.
